    1. Mason parson do make a boar bristle nylon strands combo brush.
    2. The Sonia kashuk brush is likely made by thing Fong.
    3. Clean your brush the mason person brush most likely came with a cleaning brush and instructions how to clean it.
    4. Both will likely be seriously damaged if used with a hairdryer.

    I wish I could afford that brush!!! I'm all about hair care and have super long hair. Been using all natural shampoo bars for a couple years now and it has dramatically changed the health of my hair. So would love to try out this brush. Boar bristles are perfect for distributing your hairs natural oils. So maybe hopefully someday I can get it!!!

    On the Mason Pearson website they have both the all boar bristles and like the Sonia Kashuk the mixed nylon and boar. The all boar is $250! I would like to see a review with another all boar bristles brush. There seem to be a lot on the market for a fraction of the Mason Pearson price.

      Mine was $170. But it was boar and nylon, and meant for mixed quality hair. When I first bought it, I was shocked because it feels firm. Idk how to describe it but it feels sturdy, as opposed to my $8 drug store one where I can press on the bristles and it goes completely flimsy.

    For cleaning the brush, could I use a drop of dawn soap mixed with warm water instead of shampoo? Most shampoos have oils in them that coat the hair. Whereas dawn soap removes all oils including the oils from your hair that the brush soaked up.

    I use a wet brush. Never heard of mason Pearson brush. The wet brush helps not pull the hair out and detangles super easy. What is the pros in mason Pearson that makes is so loved and "life changing" and so valuable to be able to charge that much??? I suffer from hair loss and use rogane so if there is a brush that can help my hair not come out and look nicer then I want to know!

    • @Everydaystarlet
      @Everydaystarlet  7 років тому +4

      I NEVER brush my hair when it's wet, I only use a wide tooth comb to detangle wet hair. The reason this brush is so expensive is because it's made of all boar bristles which are supposed to be gentler on the hair. I do notice that less of my hair ends up in the brush of the MP verses other brushes. However, if you are happy with the brush you are using then that's really what matters. It is a very expensive brush and I wouldn't say it's life changing. You could always try the less expensive version and see if you like the style just to try it out :)

    • @luckyDancer100
      @luckyDancer100 5 років тому +2

      I have a wet brush and I love it but it’s just not the same as my Mason Pearson. It sounds snobby to say but it seems like my wet brush collects so much more hair. I can brush my whole head with my MP and barely have any fall-out, as opposed to my wet brush which collects a bit more. I don’t use either brush to brush my wet hair. I don’t even comb it wet. I pre-brush it and finger comb in the shower, and just gently squeeze out the excess water with an old T-shirt. Then I go in with my MP.

    • @ciannacoleman5125
      @ciannacoleman5125 4 роки тому +1

      The boar bristle brushes are more for spreading hair oil through the strands not for detangling. It is suggested you detangle with a wide tooth comb then brush through a few times a week with the BBBrush

    Where did you buy it? I have been looking at Nordstroms, Neiman Marcus, and real real for almost a year and the large board bridle only is always sold out. I just bought one from the real real a website that has claim and following and it has been horrible for my hair. I am worried it's a fake. They make it so hard to get these brushes in the states. ere the bristles on your brush really hard and pull your hair out? Mine is pulling hair out more then my old cheep one. Thanks love, any info you have might help.
