    I hate when people say kids are resilient, they actually are not at all and they carry burdens from their childhood well into adulthood

    • @buffybot5787
      @buffybot5787 Рік тому +20

      It’s true and I isn’t. Kids ARE more resilient in the moment to bounce back from things and to move on through big life changes because they are used to everything changing apace with them as they grow so fast. Adults are much more stuck in their ways and their realities and have a harder time coping when big things come along and unseat them. Yes kids might be left with some trauma that comes out later on but the same can be said for adults too 🤷🏼‍♀️ Children are resilient and they do recover quicker than adults from most things because it’s the nature of their existence.

    My husband calls me in the middle of the day every day for the past 8 years. He has a job and actually runs his own business. But he will always find time in his work day to call me and if I call him he will always pick up or call me back as soon as he can. Having time in the middle of the day to call someone is still possible when you’re working a full time job if you really care about someone. I am a lawyer and I find time to call my husband in between meetings and reviewing contracts. If I’m in the office, I’ll even go into a conference room just to call him in privacy. We talk and text multiple times during the day when we’re working, even though we will always see each other at the end of the day when we’re both home. It’s something I love about him. Sometimes he just calls to check up on me and the dog lol.

    Listening to Lala talk about how the hardest part is what is happening to her daughter. I am a mom of 3 boys and my husband was arrested in July so sine then I have been alone. Its hard but the hardest part is that my kids are hurting because their dad isnt in the home anymore. That is the hardest part. I may be out but they arent...

    I totally relate to the girl that hooked up with a scumbag that had a baby and a woman at home. I’m a true believer in the girl code. I had a similar situation but me and the dumpster trash I was with was in a relationship for a year. He had a whole woman and child in another state. I finally found out from his friend bc he truly liked me as a person and hated the situation. I went to the other chick and told her with the most compassion for her. I sent just about the same message that yall cooked up. I even talked to her on the phone to answer her questions, validate her feelings and let her know I was on her side. I kid you not, that night I got drunk texts from her talking about how she was gonna beat my ass. I didn’t really say anything and just ignored the messages bc I thought she was just mad about the whole thing and needed to vent it out a bit-you could tell they were drunk texts so that’s what I chalked it up to. She kept that same energy the next day and for like a year afterwards. No joke.
    So I get why people don’t wanna be involved bc of shit like that. And I respect wholeheartedly girl code-when it comes to respectable cool ass chicks-but most women these days suck and give zero f***s about anyone or anything but themselves

    Lala completely missed the mark when Nick said that friendships in L.A. are based off of convenience....She wants her friends to ask how she's doing and care about her life but she herself burns bridges if her friends "don't add to her life" or "suck her soul dry" when she's around them. Does she not realized that she's doing to others exactly what she doesn't want done to her? She's literally proving Nick right, she's "burning bridges" because she finds it inconvenient to deal with other people's issues, but she wants them to care about hers 🤨. She's right, she's not a good friend, because that seems totally one sided.

I think Lala respects people that own their weaknesses and actively WORK on those weaknesses rather than deny that they have any .

I didn’t know the first one I met and knew for only a week. Ended it when I found out. And I was soooo kind to both women. Told them having complete empathy and didn’t stay over involved. I'm not American but I visit LA every couple of years and I find it completely hysterical that the response to the rapidly growing homeless crisis going on in LA was to change the terminology from homeless to unhoused, so on brand for California! It's the most meaningless and empty response imaginable, I assure you no homeless person is concerned with what word you're using to convey their living situation but would rather some form of action is taken to help them remedy it. Great for Dave Grohl, that is such a wonderful thing to do.

    Hard disagree with the cereal w/ milk. I say some soft fruits like peeled oranges, strawberries. Yogurt. Maybe some bread, or baked goods. Those are the most considerate in my opinion.

    I'm sorry we need darker hair lala back. Besides that I wanna add, she is gorgeous, funny and the completey sober one of the bunch and has a very clear mind to speak the things she says. She doesn't need to be drunk to be entertaining nor to be herself.

    Red flag sandwich is anything on a scooped out bagel or scooped out baguette. They’re just masquerading as a sandwich person.

    She wanted to leave for a really long time, but instead she stayed and had a kid??? Lala is so fake and stayed with Randall for his Money which has been her motive since day 1.

    I love Lala and loved this, BUT she was so hypocritical talking about how her friends should reach out to see how she’s doing and then 10 min later saying she doesn’t want friends to do that because she has her family. I was confused and wish Nick questioned that.

    Nice to see LaLa Kent does have a strong moral compass. I realize this as she talks about feeling guilty about bringing Ocean into a conflicted relationship. I like her, but I do wish she'd be more private with her sexuality. Ocean is likely going to view the tv shows and be embarrassed about her mother's lack of privacy and liberalness. I know that's me being judgmental, but for me no matter what people's sexuality should be private publicly. It's not a problem talking among a small group of friends who you are intimate with, but not for the world to know so much.
