Great fashion choices, Gabriel 🤗 Indian textiles; cotton, leather, colours, patterns are so vibrant and stylish. Love the long sleeved shirt on you! Really enjoyed spending part of my morning in India. It never ceases to fascinate me, how effortlessly Delhi pulls it all together as an energetic, authentic city of delights. Thanks for sharing. North East India has got 8 States- Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim. only Tripura and parts of Assam can be hot this time otherwise it's manageable weather. not many foreign tourists come to NorthEast, a hidden gem of India.
You just spent my perfect day in India! It’s true that there really is no destination on earth that hits the highs and lows (often in the in space of an hour) like India does.

Enjoy your trip and I'll be watching. Such a relief from my everyday hussle. PS: I'm totally onboard about that Kingfischer ;-)
I'm always impressed about how safe India is in relation to crime. Now yes, obviously there are the scams, perhaps theft, but violent crime seems rare. Now for a solo female this could be different, but as a guy who does stand out as a tourist, its just great to go as you please without worrying about getting mugged. Especially considering the amounts of cash tourists walk around with is an absolute fortune for a lot of locals.
I have been to many countries , India is very safe when it comes to people becoming aggressive in the streets or being robbed in the streets which is unlike places like Brazil where street robberies of tourists is very high , I was in Denmark recently , although over all this country is very safe , late at night when I was walking the streets to get transport to the airport , there were drunken young males in Copenhagen who wanted to become unfriendly by calling out names to people also this kind of behaviour can happen in places like Australia which can be very safe day during the day for tourists but at night alcohol can change people's personality to being aggressive and to act in a stupid manner .
I grew up and live in North America, however, When I visit India I drop all my defences and become carefree..Never worry about being attacked or having anything stolen. Back in North America .. I leave that carefree feeling behind in India
People rarely have a gun with them in India.... you should have a valid reason to get a gun and your application must be approved by government institution... It cost pretty much money so theft can't afford it..... 😂

Yo Gabe! Love the channel dude! Definitely my favorite travel channel out of the rest. After your done with your adventures in India, and have returned to the comfortable quarters of your home; consider traveling to the Faroe Islands. It’s incredibly beautiful, and the weather is very nice if you like weather a little bit on the colder side (but it never gets too cold); and there’s just a really calm vibe about the place. Its close to mainland, the island in Scotland, and it’s a territory of Denmark. If you read this comment, thank you!

Hi Gabriel, This is going to be a long-drawn-out trip and you're geared up to take on the hot steamy weather. I see that there are 35 temples that you visit I'm sure you have laid out an itinerary of what to see and do.
Paharganj in Old Delhi is worst place in the country where most foreigners go when they land first in India. Paharganj is heaven for scammers and outrageously dirty, close to it there is huge red light area full of drug addicts. foreign people go there have bad experiences and then that's their impression of the country. it's a pattern that worst places in India are most visited by foreign tourists and best places are least visited by them. India's tourism ministry is not doing enough to make foreign tourists know about best places in India. by the time local Indians recommend good and beautiful places foreigners are already gone.
Yeah wth they go to Pahadganj? Don't see anything special there on the other hand they should Go to New Delhi first Plan out a day or two for histotical monumnetns in Purani dilli and then They can plan a day for gudgaon and noida as they are well connected with metro too
I’ve been to Delhi twice and both times I stayed in Paharganji. It was just fine. Conveniently located and cheap. Was it the most beautiful areas? No. But, perfect for me.
Welcome to my country 🙏 so nice to hear from you about my incredible country ..I watch each and every video of yours 👍 yes.. shopping in India is quite affordable 😀 ❤️❤️
I’m stealing that outfit lol. Loose thin-ish pants with some more shirt like thing with patterns is so much cooler than regular jeans with t-shirt(literally, too, like you said).
my lungs hurt just watching this. I remember Katmandu I had to leave after about 4 days because my lungs couldn't take all the diesel fumes. Smoked a big hash joint at the top of Thorong La pass though, with no problems breathing up there lol.
Excellent video. I am thoroughly enjoying this series. My daughters went to India a "few" years back. They began on a backpackers budget to start. By the end of their 30 or so days, they decided it was affordable to stay at nicer places etc... Anyway, such a great video. Thank you!
There was actually several minutes of me talking about my backpack that I recorded for this video, but decided to cut out. Luckily the clothes I bought were all light and I got rid of a few other things. So I'm back to square one, which isn't great. Problem is I have warm clothing that I might still need if I head up into the Himalayas, so I'm carrying them around even in the scorching heat.
No plans to retrace my steps on this trip, so that wouldn't work. Luckily the backpack isn't that heavy, and I'll be glad I lugged the stuff around once I get into the mountains.
When are you going to Visit Maldives 🇲🇻 🇲🇻 Try to Visit isha yoga foundation in coimbatore which has a shiva statue of 112 ft and then take a train journey from mettupalayam to ooty which is scenic route ✨✨✨👌👌👌
Why are you recommending people to stay in Paharganj??….New-Delhi has so much better places to offer like Hauz Khas village, South Delhi, Lajpat Nagar (expat colony), Khan market+Lutyens….Paharganj is a shady place even for majority of Indians, it’s like a touristic shanty town.
During my 7 year stay in India in the 1990s I visited Delhi many times. For shopping I found Ajmal Khan Road (several km long) in Karol Bagh to be on balance the best shopping district for clothes and shoes (e..g. 30+ shoe shops/ stalls), household wares, electricals and much else. You'l find the largest selection of goods ranging in quality from basic to superior - mostly also at Delhi's lowest prices. Price-conscious middle class Delhi-ites shop there. After Partition Karol Bagh was launched by Punjabi merchant refugees from W Pakistan...
India can be intense in places I guess haha... Hope you made it back with worthwhile memories and a sense of appreciation for all things good back home!
Although there are a lot of scammers out there, you can easily spot them and avoid them. Also, they are not aggressive. They will back off if you tell them strongly that you don't need their services.
@@a_son8549 Loved it! Was definitely intense and I had already travelled to may different places but Delhi was definitely an eye opener, I couldn't even cross the road for the first 24 hrs!

Hygiene and Smell. Both were horrible. Everyone got sick and there was a kid taking a dump nearby the main entrance of the Hilton. There were also quite a few people casually taking a leak or having a poo by the street, completely oblivious...
I forget. But you can't miss it when you walk up the main bazaar. If you're walking up the bazaar from the railway station, it's on the left corner at the first junction.
I am planning a trip for September and will be staying in the same area and this was brilliant. I am also wanting some well-fitting good quality sandals, you mentioned you didn't love the colour, can I ask if they were tailored, size, design and style? Or was there the option? I found a place in Mumbai that did this and it is one of my best finds to date, as shoes are usually not very comfortable for me and I can't get all of those attributes in the one shoe. Your clothing choices were beautiful. I haven't seen men's clothing as I usually buy women's but the style and fit they were fabulous and I would be tempted to grab those for me as they could easily be unisex. I am also curious as to how you use the camera type and if handheld tripod etc as I would love to document my journey. Thanks, Gabe and safe travels, big hugs from London, UK. x

love the background music. please stick to this all the rest of the tour.
Thank you Gabriel 😊☀️❤
Gabe & the new wardrobe! That bags gonna be getting heavy! 😄🇬🇧
@@GabrielTravelerVideos could you store some in a station locker or some such place. At a location you will pass through again?
No plans to retrace my steps on this trip, so that wouldn't work. Luckily the backpack isn't that heavy, and I'll be glad I lugged the stuff around once I get into the mountains.
Keep the India 🇮🇳 vids rolling
I love seeing what you eat and order. :) Please feel free to linger loooooooonger over the food part of your videos. I love those parts, too.
Another great video, I remember walking these streets and shopping here great memories thank you safe travels 👍
When are you going to Visit Maldives 🇲🇻 🇲🇻 Try to Visit isha yoga foundation in coimbatore which has a shiva statue of 112 ft and then take a train journey from mettupalayam to ooty which is scenic route ✨✨✨👌👌👌
I’m looking forward to returning in a few months!
That Rikshaw driver seems like a nice person
So nice:) Thanks Gabe!
Great video man! First one I've caught in a while. Going to get caught up some!
Cool, glad to hear it.
There are nice affordable GH.s in Majnu Ka Tilla. Tibetan colony. I prefer it over Pahar Ganj.
Paharganj is the best place to get authentic Delhi experience. All the areas you mentioned are boring
After Partition Karol Bagh was launched by Punjabi merchant refugees from W Pakistan...
pahar gang doesn't look too busy.. it used to be crazy with smog all over.. e-rickshaw is a good addition. Love India!
They have definitely modernised that station. It was like the Wild West in there when I went. People trying to scam left right and centre.
@@SK-xw4gu For me is was the amount of used syringes I saw in the gutter and cracks between pavements etc that I didn't like most.....
@@a_son8549 Loved it! Was definitely intense and I had already travelled to may different places but Delhi was definitely an eye opener, I couldn't even cross the road for the first 24 hrs!
Wow incredibly!! You are more aware about indian market price than us, 👍, waiting for your train trip but 5 hours not enough to reach south 🤪
Welcome to India Gabriel
My favorite travel vlogger at my favorite part of Delhi. Looks fairly clean now. People still throwing trash on the street :( .
Flite brand footwear is by Relaxo Footwear. Generally very cheap and long lasting.
300rs(5$) for a breakfast in India is bit of an overkill! All it takes is just 1 - 1.5$ for a decent sumptuous breakfast.
That's 4 dollars, not 5, still expensive by Indian standards.
Wow you looking handsome in Indian style
I may have checked your channel a few times today for this video. Great content Gabe!
Hello! From spain! Just one question, it is easy to get in india now? Any covid passport or what we need to go there? Thanks a lot
And super nice videos! Congrats
Hola amigo, see this video: ua-cam.com/video/qIJzQ5vKuyc/v-deo.html
So nice. Can't wait to go back.
Hi Gabe love the new outfits they should keep you nice en cool, whilst waiting for your next video i rewatched your trekking video from 5 years ago annapurna base camp one forgot how good it was , looking forwards to seeing your trip north to the high mountains , stay safe gabe happy trails, i am off to turkey soon
I do not recommend Paharganj if you are female only traveler. It is a slum area. Use Hauz Khas or South Delhi instead.
Awesome shopping! I'm in love with the long sleeve shirt.
Me too, you will definitely be seeing more of it.
Hygiene and Smell. Both were horrible. Everyone got sick and there was a kid taking a dump nearby the main entrance of the Hilton. There were also quite a few people casually taking a leak or having a poo by the street, completely oblivious...
You see what you want to see.
Wow...Gabe! New fashion! Has Shiva retired?
Shiva is long-sleeved, too warm for India now. Paused but not retired.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos phew.....I was a bit worried there 😊😊
wow a great new railway station, good to know - thank you
Hi man... Ever you're been traveling to Indonesia? So, warm regards from Indonesia 🇮🇩
ua-cam.com/video/Ch2aXq-olxQ/v-deo.html
good to hear and see that India is still happening, same-same> very little different---pricing is still low or lower.
Hi Gabriel, what happen's if you eat that food & you get a bad stomach & it gives you the s***s, what medicines do you take with you?
Hi Gabe. Which website do you use to apply for your Indian tourist visa? Thanks!
indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
Gabriel
What is the NAME of that café on the rooftop in Pahaganj?
Thanks, Gabe and safe travels, big hugs from London, UK. x
Try to go kerala one of the best place in India ;
Best Place
