Thank you Ruth once again for all your enthusiasm.
Thank you Ruth for a beautiful podcast. Sending up healing prayers for your foot and sending you a big hug!
Thank you for your kind words at the end! It was such a blessing for me at the best time! I always love your podcast and appreciate your kindness and sweet spirit 💙🙏
Oh Ruth, what a beautiful lady you are and a blessing to all of us. ❤ Thank you so much for your podcasts and words of encouragement. God bless you always and may your foot heal quickly. Big hugs sweet lady! 🎉❤
Your Artus Shawl is gorgeous! Love seeing all your knits. Sending love and healing. ❤🙏🏻
So lovely to spend time with you today. All of your knits are so awesome. I just love your Artus shawl and, again...that gold is so great. You have some beautiful yarn, especially that Hedgehog Fibres...they have such great colors! Take care of yourself and hoping your foot heals quickly.
Thank-you for Gods word!! Prayers for healing for you!! Your cardigan, shawl and socks are so pretty. Love seeing your beautiful work each time. I’m currently working on a Musselburgh hat. Have a blessed week!
Your knitting is so beautiful Ruth! And that Artus shawl 😍. I hope your foot heals quickly 🙏
Dear Ruth, you have surely had your share of trials lately! But God is Good Always!! Love your beautiful cardigan, shawls and socks!! The words you shared from the book Earlybird and Nightfulness touched my heart as well! May God bring you and your family Peace and Healing! ❤
Ruth you such an inspiration, may God bless you and may your foot recover soon. All your finished items are beautiful, those socks are work of art and that shawl wow 🤩
Your cardigan is really beautiful with all the detail ❤
Hi Ruth. Thank you for the verses and poem of encouragement. ❤ I saw both of those books for sale and managed to talk myself out of them, but you are tempting me. 🤣🤣🤣 Love that sweater you’re wearing.
Hello!
I like to think of myself as a allsorts licorice connoisseur 😋!
I’m loving the knits for your daughter!
Love the Age of Steam and brass shawl - added to my list ❤ thanks for the inspiration Ruth 🥰
It was so good to see you again. Your knitting is lovely. I’m going to find that book. 🧶❤️
Oh dear, sorry about your accident and the resultant lack of mobility. I really liked the first red shawl you showed - very beautiful. I, too, just got my SWW annual book and am devouring every page. I am ordering the Laine Nordic Knits book too. We seem to have similar tastes, even though I am here in Canada. 😀
Oh Ruth, so sorry to hear about your foot, I am praying for you and a quick healing! Your knits are beautiful, your finishing reading and comments are beautiful, and so are you❣️
Lovely shawl Ruth, the colours you’ve put together look great. 😍
Thank you for another great podcast episode and hopefully your foot heals quickly 💜
The knitting community is so amazing, I was so surprised to hear you mention Nancy Wheeler. This past weekend there was a fiber festival on Prince Edward Island and Nancy was there too. All of the knitters hung out in the lobby to knit together, it was so much fun!
Hi RUTH LOVELY CARDI YOU HAVE ON TODAY ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AS ARE ALL YOUR KNITS XX
Thank you, Ruth, for sharing from Isaiah 40 and the lovely poem. Truth to soothe the soul! And I love your shawls, especially the pink and blue lacy one, You are so gifted with shawl knitting.
Lovely knits and words as always dear Ruth. Wishing you a speedy recovery and sending lots of love from London x
Now I'm really tempted by the Argus shawl when I'd promised myself, 'No New Wips!!!'. It's so lovely. Wishing you a speedy recovery xx
So sorry to hear about your foot , your Christmas yarn took me straight back to my childhood in the 50s when my mum knit me a sweater in a very similar yarn it was very similar colours and I loved it , hope your foot heals soon x
I love AllSorts licorice. We have it in the States. I love your Artus shawl. In my cue.
Thanks for keeping me company while cleaning the kitchen!
Your knitting as always is beautiful. Prayers for the broken bones to knit together quickly, I fell and broke my arm a couple years back and sat here thinking okay now what do I do! We seem to think some free time to be still will be lovely until we have it. Thank heavens for the gift of knitting and maybe a good program to watch.
Boy, I sure loved the poem you read💕
Your Artists Shawl looks gorgeous on you. The colours really suit you. I'm glad you can get all your WIPs under control even if you can't do much else at the moment.
Thanks for sharing your makes, always enjoy your videos and look forward to them.❤🧶x
Your cardigan is one of the prettiest items I’ve seen that you’ve knit ( and obviously that’s saying something since you knit so many lovely things!). It looks lovely on you too. The sweater for Eva will be lovely, hope you have enough of that yarn because it’s a gorgeous color way. And is there nothing sweeter than your daughter bragging on you on the things you knit her ❤
Oooh your Artus Shawl is gorgeous 😍 Love the colour combo you chose, and the golden yellow adds just the right pop of colour. Beautiful ❤ Hope your foot heals quickly and your pain eases soon xx
Lots of lovely knits today Ruth. I hope your foot heals up quickly and is not too painful.
Your colour work shawl is beautiful and I love the cardigan that you are wearing. Hope you’re foot gets better soon. 😊🧶
God Bless you Get well soon
Thank you Ruth for your messages at the end. ❤️
I thought liquorice allsorts as soon as you brought out the socks. My favourite (after chocolate). The verses you read out were what supported us during Gareth illness and were read by a friend at his funeral. Thanks for the poem. ❤️🌻🌻. Praying for your speedy recovery. Hope to see you at Stitchfest. Xx
Thank you Ruth for the verses and poem. Such encouragement
Praying for a speedy recovery for you
Ruth your beautiful rose and yellow shawl is definitely best worn over your shoulders “granny “ style so that the wonderful triangles and colors can be seen
You will love the Andrea Gaughn pattern. I have tested for her twice. Her patterns are so well written.
Oh good to hear. Just a bit worried about my yardage...
Another wonderful, waffling episode. I love your waffle ❤ I certainly hope your foot heels quickly, I have just finally healed from a broken hand. I can knit now 🎉🎉🎉 but still have a lot of residual pain in my ring finger! Happy knitting to us both 😊🧶
Oh no not your hand. Hope the pain eases soon x
Lv the poem & your company this morning. Take care as you enjoy the memories of your dear Father-in-law.
You are so adorable. I love watching you. I smile every time I watch you.
You’re so lovely Ruth and I wish I could knit like you. I’m in the middle of knitting a Rowan cardigan in mohair and while I was on the phone this afternoon my Labrador got into my knitting bag and destroyed the pieces I had completed. She’s 6 years old. I had to laugh otherwise I would have cried. Now I don’t have a yarn to reknit.
Oh no. Glad you can laugh rather than cry. Maybe it is a sign to knit something else!
Hoping your foot heals quickly. Love hearing about local places I am from plymouth so nice to hear Tavistock and exeter mentioned. I have never been to any fiber festivals but I am going to stitch quest at Newton Abbott, I am not sure what to expect but so looking forward to it. Take care xx
Maybe see you there x
Hi Ruth. I saw the Knitty Stew podcast too and responded telling her that I love All Sorts! I brought some to my friend in South Carolina last year as she had never heard of them. She hated them but oh well, more for me! I took a fall last week too but nothing broken. Can totally relate! Heal well!
Allsorts lovers unite x
Ruth I love your floof fibre shawl, those colours are incredible! Having seen your duckpool lane bag I think I’ve just gone and cleared out her final 2 remaining bags, what a fantastic steal! Thank you for the recommendation, and another fab episode!
Yay hope you love them x
Thankyou for your company whilst I’m knitting 🧶 ❤Love the colour of your cardigan and the poem 😊
Take a step. Such a great little poem.
Thanks for a lovely hour of relaxation, it was just what I needed ! I love all your shawls ! And the brighter, the better, I should think. Those socks do remind me of licorice allsorts indeed. Why, it's been ages since I had those, couldn't say if I'd even still like the taste...
So nis that Eva is so knitworthy. As for yarn yardage on that sweater; maybe you could do black cuffs and collar ? It wouldn't be exactly contrasting, and might give you just the extra space.
As for your own colourwork sweater; that's going to be so beautiful ! I can see your fear about the lenght though.. Maybe you could try it on first ? Even go as far as put it on waste yarn for that purpose ? It would be quite painstaking I admit, but still less so then when you'd have to redo the entire yoke in the end...
Thank you for the encouraging words at the end.
You take care of yourself, and I wish for you to have a speedy recovery, and hope it'll very soon be at least less painful.
I will attach the arms to the body then try it on.
Ouch. Bless you I will pray for a quick recovery.
I'm sorry to hear about your father in law. Praying for your husband and his loss. Also, sorry about your foot. With all the breakage you've had in that foot, I pray you don't get arthritis.
Love the vests. Your daughter is blessed to have a mother who " Loves to Knit"
You're my favorite Podcaster. I rejoice when I see you've posted. I wait to watch it when I'm alone and with no interruptions.
Don't worry about subscribers. People are fickle! We live in a saturated society of over entertainment. I think half the world has A. D.D.
Question: do you knit continental style? You must be fast. It amazes me on how many F.O.s you always have.
Anyway... you take care of yourself. Keep on keeping on for our Lord! From. KC, MISSOURI. keep smiling!
Thanks for your kind words. I am an English thrower but quite quick.
I love the detail on the cuffs and hem of ur sweater❤
I forgot to show the cables down the sides 😪
Ruth I so love to see your podcasts pop up! I love all you do and especially your devotions. You are a very special lady!
Ruth I know this is something you may not want to hear but on your Artus Shawl ..... you have the yarn and you have the time.... why not take out the bind off and add 1 or 2 more diamond repeats and get it the size you want and have a shawl that you love.
That did cross my mind. Will have a think x
Beautiful Shawl!😊
Hope your foot heels
quickly.
I'm still trying to decide which shawl I want to knit from twinset and purl
They are all lovely x
