- Hello my lovely bunnies! I would like to apologise for how late this cover came out!
I had a lot of fights with my inner standards that prevented me from finalising the cover, and last night was the best take for the vocals I did and I hope you enjoy this cover of what we have is you!
After binging Kipo and The age of wonderbeasts I listened to the OST's of all the songs available and realised how beautiful the version of What we have is you was in the original, so I decided to rearrange my version as well! with the song feeling rather short and the break between seeming a little odd to me, I added my small little parts as well to enhance the song further, and I hope it brings out the essence of the song better! With Khang's amazing artwork to go with the song! so please go check her instagram account and consider commissioning her!

You have absolutely no idea how well-timed this is. I am literally in the middle of listening to Kipo's full soundtrack playlist on Spotify and I just finished the series...I think it was Wednesday...or Tuesday? Anyway, it was within the last few days. I saw this pop up on my reminders/notifications and my hands flew into the air like one of those wiggly, wobbly, blow-up things at a car dealership. I have also been listening to Melody Snowflake and it would be super cool if you two ever got the chance to collaborate. You both actually sing a fan-made song for Lumity. I think that it would sound pretty cool to hear you two sing together.
The ending hurt my heart. My heart already hurt because I had just finished a manga called Goodbye, My Rosegarden. It is a shoujo-ai, really cute and the artwork is FANTASTIC! It takes place in turn-of-the-century England and follows the development of the *ahem* "friendship" between an English noblewoman (her father is the Count and her mom would obviously be the Countess) and her Japanese maid. The maid, Hanako, traveled to England for the sole purpose of finding and meeting her favorite author, only to find out...what you will when you read it ;) It is only 17 chapters, so it shouldn't take too long to read. Oh, I forgot to mention: to add to the drama, the noblewoman, Alice, is ENGAGED!
Edit: So, I know that I am just making this longer, but I hadn't even listened to the song when I wrote the rest of it. After I listened to it, my mouth actually fell open! I am so amazed by your songwriting abilities. You made it way better than the original! I always say that people should get their fan-made things to the original creators just to see what they think of it. I think it would be really neat for the original writer of the song to hear this version you made.

This cover is absolutely so gorgeous and well-done!! Your voice is so soft and sweet and full of the same hope and kindness that Kipo has, as well as what the original song contains! I love the added words, this just gave the song and the series another layer of emotions I am still recovering from because I still can't get over that the show is over and this just hit me with those same emotions ahhh ;;; Simply stunning work!!!
This is like a based version of the original but better I know both versions do sounds great but I really miss Kipo, I wish the franchise come back in so many ways, you remind me of her, your song really warms me. Please upload this on Spotify. 🤧
