How to program remote powered windows on a 2009 VW Passat

If you have a VCDS or know someone that has one, you can use it to program your American VW so that the keyless remote will open and close your windows just by double taping and holding the arm or disarm button. It will also close your moon roof. I'll show you the settings that I used to get it to work on my 2009 VW Passat.

Awesome video, thanks. I wonder if this would be the same process for a '17 VW CC. Probably different codes, but I'm hoping a VCDS would work. Even when I change the WIndows setting and Convenience settings in the car's menu, my windows won't roll down via the fob. It's annoying, esp in the Southern US heat!

Every time I try to change a value, after I select "Do It" it says that my codes were accepted...but then they never actually change.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

For my car I had to install an older version of the software on my laptop (12.12), disconnect from internet and turn off my firewall to get my values to change.
So far I turned off the autolock & those annoying DRLs. I also activated the Coming Home feature...but I haven't done anything else yet.
