The best luck my dad and I had for pike just recently, it was mid evening around 5, we just headed to the west side of the new lake and sure enough we found the dropoff ledge and we just worked the shoreline.
Dad caught 4 on the good old 5 of diamonds spoon and I got 3 on a soft and chewy swimbaits. Nothing big but good fun!
