Hey Corinna! I only just came across this... Very nice work! It's funny how we started and finished at around the same times... but you had a disadvantage: I copied the example sentence on to the FRONT of every card so I could see "die Luft" and "Die Bollen fleuger im dem Luft..." or whatever it is (the balls flies through the air... but in German). That made it WAY easier (but also probably totalled about 1 hour of extra work because I did each card as it came up rather than coding Anki to do it.) I also adjusted the intervals a little bit... I think upwards (longer) because I have really good short term memory and can typically remember the last 10 or so things I've heard. Also I'm not sure what our levels of Spanish/German were before this but I had studied French before so my comprehension of Spanish was decent. You came to a lot of the same conclusions I did... sure, it's obviously not THE most effective way... but if I'm not going to do it for 100 days in a row anyway, doing all 1000 in one day is definitely doing SOMETHING. My Spanish comprehension was WAY better after it... like I'd say double, and it is still higher than it has any right to be given that I haven't touched Spanish in over a year. If you ever do something else relevant to my channel (which I know is unlikely), feel free to let me know (just so I can watch it... not because I think you're stealing my idea... I just want to watch it.)
This sounds utterly miserable. Something that could have made this less miserable is printing out the cards and pacing around a building with a small substack until you learn them all and move on to the next stack until you have them all. Pacing and small subsets help with memorization. This is how I got through Physical Anthropology.
I use the Premium plan and have never tried the Premium Plus plan. The pricing page says that with the Premium Plus plan that you also get live tutoring, writing correction and premium lessons.

I think 1000 is just too much but I like the idea in general. You're a hero though. I can feel the headache through the screen
I hear you! :D Thank you, it was definitely a challenge... glad it is over!
Just found your channel! So funny that there seem to be two possible responses to Lamont’s video - effff no, or… maybe I need to do this 🤔😂
Hahaha that's so true! :D I can understand why!
