@@TuckerGott Understandable, but from time to time watching these type of videos would be really nice! But it is up to you ofcourse, be safe out there man!
I’ve lived in Orem, UT and AZ currently. Loved the mountains in Utah. Lived by a canyon I could play in all the time. But AZ and having the superstitions in my backyard, Mazatzal, Harquahala, Four Peaks, Sedona, Flag…wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Nice canyon run, Tucker! Got my first flight in the other night at Midwest PPG!!! My Fly Products Rider X arrives tomorrow! I’m no longer just a groupie, it’s the real deal now! I’m appreciating PPG videos even more now. Thanks for inspiring me to do all of this, Tucker!!! 😎😁
i can only imagine being an oblivious random driver passing by on that bridge, watching you leap to your seeming death, only to pull over, get out, and watch you glide away on a paraglider. hahaha also about the accident in your last video... STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP OVER IT BRO! we are all human, and we all make mistakes. im more proud of you BECAUSE you owned up to it, and showed it to us. MAD respect. no reson to be ashamed man.
It's the only legal bridge to jump from in the US year 'round, so it has BASE jumpers there pretty much all the time and is famous for it. Also a BASE canopy is a parachute, not a paraglider. They're designed for rapid and stable openings, not for glide.
ROLLER SKATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tucker, roller skates could be the ultimate solution between foot launch and trike. Please do a video with taking off and landing on roller skates.
Twin Falls is absolutely gorgeous! You can also rent kayaks and paddle the river below the bridge, watching BASE jumpers from below, so even if you don't jump there is so much to do there and ways to enjoy the scene. Highly recommend a visit!
It's wild i started watching you over on the east coast and now your flying just a couple hours down the road I'm up in Idaho falls. Stay safe, have fun😁👍
You inspired me, Tucker. I'm on my third day of paragliding instruction right now and aim to be a paramotor pilot as well one day. Keep up the gear inspections and enjoy those base jumps!
Living the best life my dude, road trip looks fun as hell! A lot of weird hate on this one that I don't get at all, looks totally normal to me? Anyways, keep killing it man, great vid.
Dayum Tucker! That looks like a lot of fun! BTW, I see Mark Huneycutt just dropped his final vid of his, Chuck and Caleb's amazing 1400 mile Mexico border to Canada border paramotor adventure. You covered some of that territory back in your Icarus Race, so I'm really curious to hear what you think of it?
I love swooping past and sometimes doing tricks for people whom almost always have their phone out recording something they've probably never seen before. Though always quick to f**k-off shortly after that as to not outwear my welcome or become annoying. Looks like a beautiful place to fly, reminds me of what enticed me into the sport to begin with. Definitely be careful in those canyons! Rotor and weird wind in general is scary!
Funny thing about rails the width of the one on the bridge. If it is close to the ground I can stand on it, jump and land back on it, run along it. As soon as it is elevated I can barely balance on it lol. Why is that?
With the evil kenevil jump i would have flown way back and come at full speed up the ramp and just made a nice smooth arc over it like you were making the jump. Would have been epic.
Hey Tucker! I’ve been watching you for a while now and I really love your videos. Keep em coming! I make sure to like everyone I watch. I do worry about those low level stunts you do but really cool to watch. Maybe someone or you reading this can explain to me what is the average failure of a parachute while skydiving? I heard about every 800 jumps you might experience a failure. Is this true?
Do you guys fly over Star? I’m currently living in Finland, but from our house in Star we regularly saw paramotors and I always wished I could come say hi!
@@PotatoFiwe do actually! And a fair bit recently. We launch from a high school just south of star and cruise up there. We like to visit the ponds. My channel has a bunch of shorts of our Star flights. 🪂😁
Hey Tucker when you get to Salt Lake City can you do some video of going out to eat in town or walking around town? Also can you fly in Emmigration Canyon?
Everyone is scared of heights, it gets better with exposure time. I still get freshly scared when the skydiving season starts up again and I've been jumping out of planes since 2006. My first BASE jumps in 2016 were super butt clenching, but it got better with more experience and getting more and more familiar with how to do everything as safely as reasonable. Anyone saying they're not scared is putting themselves in danger. Fear keeps you safe and aware, it's how you work _with_ that fear that matters.
Have you flown over the falls? The fires have been a bit of a pain lately. Woke up a couple weeks ago and went outside, everything smelled like an ash tray.
Is there some sort of signage on that bridge informing motorists of base jumpers. I can imagine Ma and Pa Kettle having a heart attack while driving over the bridge as some random dude jumps off..
I wonder how many people call the police after they see a person just jump of that bridge. If you have a completely packed parachute, people might not see it and not realize you are a base jumper.
Hi Tucker, did you never get caught by the sheriff when basejumping from a motorway bridge? You might have seen photos from the " Gorge du Tarn" bridge with 350m high pillars and the road some 200m from the ground. Because it is a Motorway stopping is strictly forbidden, and if there is a jumper, police are mostly waiting at the landing points. It's that day spending at the police office, leaving after you paid the fine,(about 1000 euro) and delivered your driving licence for 2 months. So don't get the idea to base jump in France!
Love flying but BASE jumping is NUTS! Too many variables can happen for something , not opening, canopy getting caught, gust blowing you into structures, not enough height to rectify problems! But it’s your choice in the end! 😬
Tucker you know what I've told you over and over and then I see this, I'm not kidding when I told you I don't want to see you doing anymore base jumping. maybe this was an old video? if that was the case then forgive me but either way base jumping for you is finished so you better not be doing any more so don't even think about it because your cat tells me everything. I can't afford to lose you Mr. Gott you are far too important to me.

Extremely common to see jumpers on the bridge on any given day, only people from out of the area would be surprised.

Can you get the parajet xplorer flying car and do a video series on it?
Whats the story behind the "Evel Knievels ramp"? Did he launch into the canyon and deploy a parachute?
Tucker why don’t u use the Scout anymore? What is a great paramotor and wing to start with?
I have a video about that. Think it’s titled “why I’m not flying the scout.” The Ozone Mojo or Spyder and Parajet Maverick are what I recommend.
You’re only 30 miles away from me!!
You skipped right over Shoshone Falls!
Wonder if that smoke is from Canada, Colorado, California or all three
Flying audio has seemingly been sub-par since the new helmet. Was better before. Maybe there's some adjustment or knob somewhere. Cool canyons
I haven't noticed, aside from the difference with the spare propeller.
Parachute cams epic
