So envious of your Whitsunday trip. I had a fall (in Rockhampton) the day before arriving at Airleys Beach and fractured my ankle, leg and a couple of metatarsals and spent weeks in a half cast and ended up have to use a wheel chair for two weeks and then crutches for the rest of our 6 week road tour of the coast of Queensland and NSW. I never made it out onto the ocean like you all did.
@@TheIngallsOdysseys I was lifted, in my wheelchair, onto a very large cruiser moored at the Cairns marina for a day out to the Great Barrier Reef. A lovely American lady who didn’t come prepared to swim, snorkel or scuba dive kept me company onboard whilst my husband and two couple who had flown in from the UK to join us, had an interesting time exploring the reef. I had a lovely day with her hearing all about Boston and her World travels and we shared our memories of different cities and countries. She was all alone so she joined our group for lunch and I hope, enjoyed the rest of her day.
The Whitsundays is a beautiful part of the Great Barrier Reef, and I'm glad you were wearing stingers suits. Glad to see you're making the most of your time in Australia during these trying times. Enjoy.
Beautiful
Very proud to call ourselves Australian. Our darling and unique country. 🇦🇺

Oh no! It may not be the best story, but you got a story out of it!

Glad you love our country. You are ever so welcome. Was at Hamilton Island in September last year. I'm Brisbane born and bred.

Looks beautiful!
Glad to see you wearing stinger suits...
Wondered what you lot had got up to over the holidays with the dodgy weather of Canberra.
WOW
