Great to see you again! Thanks for talking to me and sparing your precious time! Have a nice long rest after Darlington, hope your Christmas is a good one this year and I hope your headaches disappear again! Love & hugs xx
Hari OM Oh yes, a very liveable layout if one is in the market for a caravan with all home comforts! I, too, agree about the m/w being in the cupboard, much neater. YAM xx
I can’t imagine all that netting would be very practical if you had dogs !!! Talking of which apologise to Dougal has I had been to visit Eileen to get his black pudding treats but didn’t see you after your Austria talk. Our new caravan is all sorted just to decide on a solar panel or not ? Chatsworth this weekend for bonfire and fireworks 💥 x
What a beautiful caravan / work of art. You're right Andrew it's stunning. I also agree about the microwave, it's one of the few cases where I'd opt for style over function,. keep the cover. Now all I need is a bigger car, a bigger driveway and a bigger bank balance...I can dream!
Beautiful van agee about the microwave being in the cupboard it's alot better would rather have a one piece shower that sealed piece just never liked the long hitch on adrea.great video as always. Missing doogle.
Have adria not loaned you one yet for a test would love to see how you get on it looks a beautiful stunning van. My friends have just ordered one they get it next week but I've noticed it's got a u-shaped lounge not the L-shaped. Do you know anything about the different layout of the Rio Grande ie u-shaped seating not the L-shaped seating you saw.
I was hoping to say hello today as I was using the tickets I won in your competition but I only saw you walking into the NEC at 1pm as our bus to the car park was pulling out. I think it was as busy as I've ever seen it at the NEC. I've seen the vehicles that I want, a WildAx Solaris if we decide that the majority of our journeys will just be the two of us + dogs but if our adult daughters & grandson say they will travel with us more if will be the the 6 berth Rollerteam Zeffiro. The funny thing is that the 6 berth is £15,000 cheaper than the 4 berth.
Thanks for coming to see me, sorry you didn't say hello after! Yes, Roland rather laboured the point, didn't he? I think he kept doing it as a wind-up.
Well I wasn't expecting to see a video from you now! You must be half way down to Dover?! Ever the professional, making sure you post regularly but we would have understood anyway today! Well done and I hope you're having a decent break in between journeys?! Drive carefully and give Dougal a hug from me when you see him! As for the caravan, well you know I like a layout with an end kitchen! I really love this, this is exactly the layout I would like, well done Adria!! Never understood the kitchen next to the bedroom, you can still have decent views from the lounge! I hope there's more of these!! Great video Andrew! Always working so hard, you're the best!! Safe journey to your mum's, take care! Hugs xxx 😘🥰🐕
Hi Andrew, lovely to see you as always. Stunning! Beautiful Caravan! Lovely layout, definitely need the extra width to Seating. I agree with You on the Microwave. Loving the Bedroom area & Wash Room too! Thank You for sharing, Lots of Love to You & Dougal 💖💖💜💜 XXXX
Very nice and very nice price too but your paying for quality. One question just dawned on me.. You've got a new Ev are you still going to be on the road reviewing? I mean the towing capacity wise. Before we'd have seen you pulling this around France, Germany. I'm assuming you've a hidden trick up your sleeve when out comes around. Great vid as always and can't wait for the next.
This is why I went with an EV with a 1600kg tow limit! But in fact, the last caravan I was allowed to take away and live in was 5 years ago, since then it's only been motorhomes and van conversions!
@@andrewjditton has it been that long..I watched all your vid could have sworn it felt like maybe 2 years. Any how..its still great content what ever it'll be your reviewing or commenting on. Looking forward to the next!!
@@andrewjditton We've had the 663HT a number of years in Denmark, and as far as I know, the nose weight has always been a problem. Even though they have now made an optional model with twin axle, that too is struggling. It seems to me that the axle(s) should have been placed a bit more towards the front. 🤔 My 573UP is a bit front heavy too, but it did help, that I exchanged two lead-acid batteries with one LiFePo one, but that's another story 😉
For the bedside cubbies, Adria should put the sockets inside the cubbies to avoid dangling cables! Also, if I'm getting a van like that I want a bigger TV than a 20" 😂
Really stunning, but the first thing I see that is not good, is that the door is so far forward that you can't put a canopy or porch awning on it and still have the door inside the awning! ... unless you use a full awning and that kind of limits the options! The door needs to at least 4"-6" behind the start of the straight bit of awning rail.
I hate the hotplate/sink module the heat transfers through the whole thing and I never used 3 burners at once, it's a caravan not a commercial kitchen.
I love these new Alpina caravans. I think though on this a centre washroom like in the Adora Tiber would open the market up more to families. The Alpina seems to be aimed at couples with occasional guests. The microwave should be in a cupboard I agree, but I’d be worried if it was over seating. Great tour Andrew thank you!
I'm glad you did the tour because did I like the Rio Grande, and the answer is No. I don't like the kitchen layout as my wife would have her back to me when I'm sitting in the sofa and we're talking....a bit unsociable. The front window has a horizontal division, unlike our Adria Alpina Mississippi which it has a full pane window with no division, which lets the outside light stream in. I much prefer the U-shaped lounge in our Mississippi not the two side sofas. They also don't have as much light above as we have in our front lounge. Furthermore, if you had the lounge table out between both the sofas this prevents easy access to the front and the back of the van. With the Mississippi, the table is at the very front of the Van. In summary, is this Van worth £13,500 more than what we paid for our Mississippi at the end of 2020 ? The answer is a resounding No, as the differences are in my opinion minimal and cosmetic. I know a lot of the price increase however is due to the massive demand for caravans during Covid. Great you did the tour though as it reinforced what a great value for money Van we have with our Alpina Mississippi. Also, Adrias are fantastic vans in my opinion. Keep up the good work 👍
Hmmm. Adria always produce a quality, stylish product; but a wardrobe next to the kitchen? Random. A microwave above the lounge sofa? Strange. Otherwise, it’s beautiful!
A caravan with some outstanding features, but for me it’s too minimalist, stark, though I really like the bathroom and nose locker. I find the exterior drab and ugly - no thanks, plus the van is too heavy for a single axle. Nor am I impressed with a long line of cross head screws along the full length of the roof on both side, just out of sight!
Eight point three metres long, or six point nine metres make your mind up , caravans do not have siblings for god sake, kitchen area, cooker far to low,
Adrias are starting to grow on me, I've just always found them far too clinical. I like a van to feel warm and cozy and I've never felt that with them when I've looked, but I think they are getting better. I don't doubt their quality either it''s purely a style thing , just not to my taste but that's starting to change slowly. This layout though, whilst certainly interesting and something different, wouldn't be for me. Almost feel like it's being different for the sake of being different, I dunno ? The lack of visibility and field of view as opposed to a traditional front lounge is the main thing putting me off I think, it's likely the only view you have whilst seated is your neighbour. It's a scientific fact that it's impossible to be a caravaner and NOT be an avid people watcher, so swap the lounge and the kitchen back and we might have a deal lol. Now, can anyone lend me 40 odd grand ? 🤣
Love it, Andrew!
What a stunning caravan! Adria always seems to nail it as far as the styling goes, at least in my book :)

Thanks for coming along Pamela - I came out to look for you but guess you'd gone by the time I'd got there. Enjoy the break!
Very pretty. I would prefer the washroom in the middle 💜
What a beautiful camper. Significantly better than what we see in the US. And at a very reasonable price.
Thank you Andrew for this very good review 👍 👍
I like your french accent with armoire, garde robe, and voile 😄😄😄😄

I guess beauty is subjective... personally I've always found EU van's to be all style and light on substance!!.😎💕🇬🇧
Adria does have a robust reputation for quality.
I agree with beauty being subjective.

They did a layout similar to this a number of years ago, with the kitchen at the front.
Your reviews are really great. On this side of the big pond we have a 2022 TAB 400. In my humble opinion is is the finest RV build over here. Thanks
Nose weight !!!??? would that kitchen put it over what do you reckon, Very nice layout though
Good question!

What a "bobby dazzler". Adria knows how to build a caravan. As an Adria owner, I'm biased.

Well, it's more a place to put coats as you come in Steve. And the microwave is only for the UK... Thanks for watching.
Have your own bit of land , do it properly could get your money back with in a year 😉!
My first question with caravans these days is what is the water ingress history with a caravan marque ? Is Adria any better than the usual suspects ?
Check with the C&CC as they have historic data from their User Satisfaction Surveys.
