@@RodsAway just FYI, that torch today was not nessesary. its only needed if what you wanna capture is darker then the suroundings. the camera will darken the picture to have the brighest spot visible so the torch must lighten up the dark part to the same level or higher. your little torch cant do that in a big manhole if the sun is out, but today you got away with it, thanks to be all in shadows :)
Can we expect to see a future video with the remedial works to fix the broken pipe? I did mention in one of my comments in an earlier video that you should use CCTV to determine pipe condition etc and I believe you replied saying you had one but to date I have not seen you use any CCTV equipment. I realise it is expensive but it’s a must really for drainage work, you can’t be sure what’s happening below without it, and trust me if your able to put the camera down and show the customer a broken drain you most of the time can sell a repair job there and then if the price is right and unless they want to claim on the house insurance, your missing out on a bigger job if you just walk away now, get that exco and repair the pipe, your make far more money!
I’m curious as to why you didn’t take the toilet off inside to access the line? Though I guess it would flood inside. Great job. It’s much more interesting when you detailed the pipes, and tell us where each inlet is from.
