Incredible! I wish some day that I could learn this piece. All aspiring cellists have this dream and we are all fortunate for having such a fine cellist who is willing to help us through the kindness of his heart and sharing with your great teaching technique and demonstration! Thank you !!!! ❤
congratulations for the initiative. Listening to the teacher studying slowly helps the student to release anxiety and transfers an atmosphere of peace. Emotional quality essential for studying.
Thank you so much for recognizing and appreciating the intent behind my teaching approach! I've always believed that music, at its core, should be a soothing and enriching experience. By studying and practicing at a slower pace, we can truly grasp the essence of a piece and internalize its emotions. I'm delighted to know that this method is resonating with you and providing a sense of peace.
Perhaps you could look at some of the techniques required to play it instead. Some double stopping, some super quick rhythmic string crossings, staccato etc. so people can practice the skills needed on out of copyright music and then transfer them to paint it black in whatever arrangement they prefer. Thank you for your videos, very helpful.
This video really helped me out with the chord fingerings! I have a question, how do you practice keeping your bow straight on the C string? I've been struggling for this for 4 years, just never got the hang of it.
Happy to be of help. Unless I am planning to change the color of sound, I am trying to keep the bow at the same point of the string. On C string it usually means that I have to keep my bow arm closer to my body… I talk a lot about it in my Udemy cello courses…
Brilliant video, thank you, will you be doing any Udemy courses on treble clef? I've just started on movement 1 but a bit stuck on treble clef and I'm desperate to play this. Thankyou.
Let's vote! Who is your favorite cellist performing this concerto? Jacqueline du Pre? Yo-Yo Ma? Sheku Kanneh-Mason? Someone else?
Jacqueline du pre
Jacqueline!!
Jacqueline Du pre
Jacqueline Du Pre is the better
@@Henriquinhox7 she is better - no doubt :)

Great music and excellent performance. Thank you.
can you do the pain it black tutorial?
Great idea 💡 I will see what I can do. The main problem would be copyright. I try to avoid working with copyrighted music.

Thank you ❤️ Udemy courses take months to make, but I should be able to make a video at some point…
Woowwwww I wish I could play like you 🤩😮
You can actually play better than I do. Practice, patience, time and love to music are essential ingredients of success. Best of luck to you!

damnit, now I want to learn to play the Cello.
It's never too late!
This "version" has no emotion.
obviously
its a tutorial dawg
It's a tutorial for students 😀
Emotion ≠ having a breakdown while playing
Personally, I still hear emotion in this. He plays amazingly well along with being extremely helpful!
