Bhai mai toh clearly hi bol rha hu, Im studying for the packages and the initial boost which IIMs provide. Koi openly bole ya na bole. Everyone will pretend that they are not in for the money. Bhai 25-30 LAKH fee de ke agar high income expect na kare toh vo chutiya hi hoga.
Haha I’m not saying you’re wrong. But after an year or two, these things will stop motivating you. But for now, if these things help you stay motivated then you can go on :)

Thank you amol till now i already thought that cat exam isnt for me i am an average student its only 40 days more to go but this morning i saw ur video i feel ek baar achesey koshish toh kar hee saktey hai so getting back at my preparations to achieve my goals.

I came across your UA-cam channel while I was searching IIM Vishakaptnam last September. Your videos are quite motivating. This year my cat percentile is 97.12 along with approximately 95 percentile in each section. I am a GEM with no work ex with 8/8/7 profile, basically an average profile with a few co curricular and extracurricular activities like journal publication in an International platform and participations in various other competitions and sports . Wanted to know how difficult it would be for me to convert IIM Vishakaptnam with this profile if I have a good GDPI round.
IIM V gives almost 50% weightage to PI. So if you perform well in the PIs, you'll surely make it as your profile is also decent :)
Brother i have 10th-68% , 12th-80% ,b.a-58% ( General category) [ state Board) ..will i get calls from any iims ?

Great video sir❣. Can you please share how to keep calm while giving mocks. I have observed that while giving mocks I am in pressure due to which my performance is affected.
There’s a trick. Whenever you feel like the pressure is overpowering, close your eyes for a minute or two. Don’t think anything during that time and take 3-4 deep breaths. You’ll think by doing this you’re wasting your time but that’s really not the case. Overall it’ll help you solve more efficiently than others :)

Also you mentioned you were weak in dilr. I'm really exhausted by trying diff thoughts nd approaches in lrdi . Getting very very low in this section. Please guide me a bit if you can.

Selection is the key for DILR. Before attempting questions in mocks spend some time in selecting the easy sets first. And for practise, try practising varied concepts from books like Arun Sharma etc

Thank you for motivating us Anmol. I am a catking student but someone told me that Catking mocks are not at par with CAT. What are your views on it? I am getting a good score in Catking mocks should I feel motivated or should attempt any other coaching mock as well?
You can attempt mocks from other coachings also but in any case it not true that their mocks are not at par. Their mocks are pretty much on the same levels as you require for preparing efficiently :)
Hey , im not scoring marks in mocks its beem a while since im preparing i also attempted for cat 22 and didn't score well so can you tell me how should i increasey score in mocks.

There's no single best course for MBA. Choose a course which you're really interested in and want to make a career in that domain post MBA :)

Pehle LOD 1 ko baar baar solve kro don't move to LOD 2. Jab easily solve hone lag jaye, tab hi LOD 2 pe move karo.

I used to give 2-3 mocks per week and in November I increased this to 3-4 mocks per week :)

Don't take any coaching here , I am also from kanpur and I am a time student and i I was a student of ims for IPM after 12th , the faculty of both the prime institute is not worth the price you are going to pay, indirectly you'll be scammed because faculty is not good , including career launcher as my friends were taking coaching there and they had the same opinion, it's better to self prepare or either take online classes from - elites grid for dilr , qa- rodha , and varc gejo speaks/and unacademy and take test series of these institute like time ims or cl , and extensively practice.

Hey brother. I won’t suggest any offline coachings there. You can look up for online coachings there are plenty of them which provide great materials :)
@@yashvashishtha2714 I would still suggest not to take "coaching" specifically for either online or offline mode of these institutes ,what they will teach you the tricks and concepts are easily available on the UA-cam channels like rodha , elites grid , unacademy ,gejo speaks that too for free ,if even after that you're facing issues you can take up the online live / video lectures of these teachers itself because they have much better approaches than them online .
While you must take test series of these institutes like time, ims ,cl as they are top notch and apt for cat so the while you'll analyse the paper you'll pretty much learn a lot of concepts from there also .

They used to vary alot between 70 to 97-98

Being a fresher and a general category student, I would suggest aim for at least 97-99

Had you solved Career Launcher mocks too? I’m currently combining my mocks. I choose mocks among CatKing, Career Launcher, Cracku. I found that CL mocks are way tougher than CatKing.
CL mocks are definitely good and at par with the CAT level. The analysis is also great 👍
Yes that’s a general review I’m getting from many other students also. Try solving a mix of mocks but don’t get disheartened in case you get low scores as the actual exam is a bit easier than those difficult mocks

Haha that was just a way to tell you guys the ratio of time I used to spend in attempting mocks and then analysing it :)

Try mastering the arithmetic section first. And don’t rush to tough questions there are always 8-9 very easy questions in the actual exam :)
