@@justagrape2343 The books ARE canon though, thats where we got 90% of the lore, if you were to neglectany of the books as canon you wouldnt have most of the lore- Yes theyre a different timeline, but in terms of character ages and stuff they're the only canon thing we have- and the sprites were never accurate things to base stuff off of, for example Michael alone has inconsistent sprites in the same game (His jumpscare sprite is bald and pale while his bite sprite has hair and is tan for example), if you were to use the sprites for your AUs canon, William should be purple and stuff like that
