I love this painting. I started drawing when I was 5 years old. When I was in grade school, I would win first prize at the science fair, drawing flowers. I was in my 50's when I took up painting. I am self taught. I love your paintings . By that time my children were grown and had lots of time to paint.

Love your art!!! I wonder if it is possible to use oil paint over a watercolor painting after applying a coat of clear gesso?

You can use oil over watercolour without the need for gesso. In fact gesso is water based and would lift up the watercolour underneath. Check out my oil over watercolour video.
