Love my SCI SIX. It lives on my 12.5 midgas with H3 buffer, Sprinco blue spring and RifleSpeed adjustable gas block.runs like a race horse. In accordance, it does give up a 1.5 points of muzzle suppression, but gains 2.3 points at the shooter’s ear because of the higher flow rate which was great at the time of the release. It’s also been really good under nightvision too. My CAT WB and ODB cleared yesterday at 23 days so I can’t wait to compare them on 5.56 as well as the ODB on 300BLK which it scored high on as well. On a 10.3in MK18 Their ear suppression rating is in VELOS LBP/Huxwrks territory while still maintaining SCI SIX/RC2 levels of muzzle suppression. Plus CATs Surge Bypass has shown to scale up in performance with barrel length, so I expect good things.

@@ChrisBritton3476 Jay hasn’t released vented end cap data on the SCI SIX yet, but he said it will come eventually. You can use the Hyperion/Helios vented end cap on it, but CGS and slade are still doing testing on a specific SCI SIX Flash hiding vented endcap.
Didn’t know you guys had a UA-cam channel, I have an 11.5 piston from type a too, it’s pretty solid. I have a griffin dual lok 5 on the way, a hux helix qd, looking at grabbing the cat wb 718 Also waiting to grab that px4 holster with the comp accommodations

Do you think the flow through cap alleviates enough back pressure to use on overgassed systems and prevent damage to the recoil system? Or is it just not quite there?

SupDef Corey had an issue with his being out of spec, purchased the newer device off CGS website, and stopped having issues. I use a wrench when torquing both device and mounting the can and have had no issues.
gotta ask, do the coyote brown b5 grip and fde magpul stock match as good in reality as they do in this video? I'm looking to get the same setup and am not sure between the b5 fde and coyote brown as far as which will match a magpul stock better.
I was a fool for thinking it came with both end caps and was sorely dissatisfied when I got mine last week😂 ported cap is in the mail but I still pouted a bit
Great review. 1 caveat I have… I don’t think you should refer as flow thru so “black and white”. In my opinion, there’s not a flow thru vs not flow thru. Even the “true” flow thru as you referred to them as, have different flow rates and sound reduction. It’s more of a spectrum. To be honest, the CGS venting gas from the expansion chamber and venting it out the front vented end cap, would constitute it as a flow thru can in my opinion.

Low flow rate (sealed suppressors) exhibits high back pressure. (Gas to face pew science would say this exhibits a high omega metric). @chasebricker639 what constitutes a “true” flowthru (what you really mean is what constitutes a high flow rate) Flow rate is measured by dwell time at the bolt on the weapons host with the suppressor attached . Meaning a “true high rate suppressor” like the hxqd 556 will barely increase dwell time by somewhere in the realm of 1%. Basically the lower the omega metric on the pewscience scale. The less backpressure or (gas in the face) meaning that suppressor has a high flow rate and therefore barely affects dwell time.
