Fnatic are the on path of becoming the astralis of valorant.
Both choked multiple times in the semi finals and finals and until they signed 2 new players that changed the game for them. Also Both have a top leader type igl and moody coach.

Now they are really hurting without something’s entry and fragging power.
It wouldnt do shit with the way fnatic played this match, whats gonna happen is him overextending and baited like everyone else in their whole team.
He would’ve caused issues with his shorty plays forsure I guess the valorant gods didn’t want it to be this time around. Always sucks whenever an international lan event takes place we get players having visa issues

@@zihuatenejo ever thought about PRX overextending because they are trying to open up the round without something? Something would certainly have helped because it takes pressure off the rest of the team to play more methodically when he can go all aim no brain.

Crazy that PRX and DRX, and T1 were so overly dominant in their regions, but now on the international stage they struggle.

already being said alot in the comments, but PRX had no shot against a titan like FNC in this matchup, especially with a sub in and without Something. arguably, their strats could've been more adapted to how prepared FNC were against PRX's usual W Key plays. imo with the latter in mind, FNC still would've came out on top, but PRX would've been able to put up a better fight. PAC teams just aren't there yet to defeat EMEA teams, surely hope this gets changed with time though.

I don't even know who's the best player in Fnatic. I used to think it's Derke, but when you see the clutches and spray tranfers from Alfa and Chronicle, I'm in doubts. For sure they're better with utility than Derke though

PRX needs a better strat than just rushing into sites. FNC was well prepared for their play style

would've liked to see Forsaken on something more proactive like jett or even yoru, because against a team like FNC a "meta" environment they just don't have a chance lol

Fnatic and EG are both just obliterating Masters. I hope upper finals will be one hell of a match. To put into perspective how dominant they are in playoffs, EG hasn’t conceded more that 12 rounds per series. Fnatic are basically the same with only conceding a max of 13 rounds per series.
Well PRX avoided that 13-0 on Lotus and followed the scriptwriters' fake comeback orders decent. All joking aside, even though they are missing something, with how Fnatic adjusted to PRX specifically, he wouldn't be much help. Probably gonna look like Forsaken Jett at Champs getting his aggro countered hard. But he definitely could of made it more doable, CGRS played well mechanically and did his role(being a utility support bag that has good aim) pretty well for his first lan, Fnatic did their homework properly against PRX, and Boaster has no enemies at the end, W sportsmanship.
don't agree. prx always depend on double duelist comps. in the lotus match they haven't another duelist and they waste so much utility to take the site. and also if you watched prx VoiceCom videos you know how something help teammates to calm and play more disciplinary way. with something they can go 50:50.
@@nilakshachandula7185 Don't agree too! I think PRX aka W gaming is only good against Pac teams lol. Against a top tier team like FNC, well we alraedy know what happpened. Y'all talking about something and the double duelist comp as if it;'s this massive game changer. No it's not. You just have to accept that PRX has a glaring issue that was highlighted with the absence of something. Ohter than that, I think the fans are just coping really hard on this one.
Don't agree too, how you can say fnatic already adjusted with prx even with something, that they never fight with that comps
@@Linley-ut5jo with something in pacific they were switching between very fast W key rounds and slow map control rounds, being unpredictable. this series, PRX attempted no misdirection, wasted tons of utility, and were uncoordinated with double peeks and trades, issues that came from PRX themselves. fnatic deserve all the credit for punishing the gaps in PRX's play today, but their issues are mostly ones that weren't present when something was in the roster during pacific, that's why the something argument is quite valid. i'm not saying PRX would've beat fnatic with something, but it would've been a lot closer. tons of close rounds on both lotus and bind went fnatic's way today
@@nilakshachandula7185I'm not sure if youre aware but they know something is not playing, and even if he was their double duelist comps must have counter plays as well, PRX threw their entire kitchen sink(or alot of their tricks anyway) at the finals against DRX, especially their Bind. Yes there are alot of probability questions if you exchange something with cgrs and it would be an improvement, but you can't deny Fnatic dismantled PRX's plays, denied every single attempt to initiate their chaotic plans and when their mental was scattered(looking at that lotus round where they hit C- cancel, rotate to A, nvm- we go B-, it was a mess.) The best prime PRX had to offer this time around is not a 12-0 half at lotus atleast and less sloppy plays(as you say, I follow PRX and their content, something heavily influences their discipline despite being the primary duelist.)

When Derke is diffing Jing the one trick raze player on both maps, PRX can't outaim fnatic cause most of their players are mechanical mosters.
prx coach letting Benkai who has experience and was a much better igl than forsaken drop that far finally got a wake up call, something might be the best apac jett but fnatic has 5 of the best emea players in the world and they got humbled
no it’s not that. Something is currently irreplaceable on the roster is the problem. Forsaken cannot replace something because he needs to play support for Benkai’s absence. CGRS just isn’t good enough for first team even though alecks says he has practiced with the team

@@Linley-ut5jo You don't know how big the impact of having something on the team will be. Seriously, go watch their voice comms video, something play an important role. Even though he's a duelist. He always takes care of their team members by keeping in touch and planning what to do with them. Thus, I believe it will be a tough fight against Fnatic, which has the best EMEA players. Still, the outcome could change.
@@xenakim7128 I know his impact really well and no. It would be a closer fight but it would stiill be 2-0. No one in paper Rex stepped up today and you can see every FNC member clutched against them. They made it look too easy it feels like they were given bonus rounds just so it doesn't look like it. Go watch the game again instead of coping. PRX with something hasn't been tested at the international level yet and idk how you guys instead are making a case that the outcome would have changed even tho it was 2-0 and it wasn't even close. 12-0 on the first map and they were gifted a few rounds. 12-3 on the second map and they definitely didn't pull a FNC storyline against FNC itself. I have a question, where in this point in their game today did you actually think that something would have done something?? A few. It doesn't matter if something was there. The other members just looked lost and this is team game while the FNC squad has highlights where they clutched up against PRX multiple times. You need to have somewhat that comeback factor or period before claiming that the addition of something would have made a difference.

Ikr, but iirc, I read somewhere that Benkai had a surgery and couldn't speak comfortably. So for the sake of comms, they had to play CGRS instead of him. But I am not 100% sure about this info. But it makes sense, because there's no way they are gonna bench Benkai just like this. After all, PRX almost won a Masters with him as IGL.
