Grant and Danny deep-dive the numbers and discuss how the Commanders ranking dead last in the NFL in returning players might actually mean that the floor is higher than most anticipate. Could this be a 10-win team??
8 wins boys , let’s not get ahead of ourselves!
We can definitely get 10 wins, elite coaching staff from top to bottom, upgraded every position group if we had this coaching staff last year we could have easily won 6 games, 10 wins might be the minimum to make this front office happy people forget Dan Quinn already said they not aiming to just compete
It's tough to say with all the changes. 7-9 wins would be good, anything more would be great.
Until we do it I just can't say 9 or more wins, I'm always optimistic with Ashburn Syndrome but after the first month of thw season I'm almost checked out and just watching to watch or have the game on as background noise, most of us diehards know what I'm talking about so maybe this year?? 🤔 😊
Nope... we play the North divisions, we may win 6 games this year
Everything depends on the rookie QB having a RG3 rookie magic effect .. That 2012 team was mediocre at best and went 10-6.
Right. I look back on that roster especially defensively and man were they bad. The only thing they could do was blitz. Then their offense on paper wasn't that great but that offensive scheme got the team on a heater late.
@@raymondsmith2040we had a hall of famer and 1½ all pros on the OL.
@@mikelawry7304 that's it tho
@@raymondsmith2040 that's just the OL. Pierre, Djax, and Davis
@@mikelawry7304 They only had Pierre in 2012. Not the other 2.
I’m Staying Positive, guys we need to help bring good energy always know anything is possible. I’m seeing A Playoff caliber team.
Guys anyone can make any argument against any point at any time. That doesn’t mean it is a logical argument to make. We are better at every position besides back up quarterback that is a true, statement defensive end included.
Doesn’t even matter only the superbowl matters!!!!!
We really don’t know. Depends on how the team gels
New haul of players, new qb, new schemes for players to learn and ppl expect 10 games smh.. this is the problem with our franchise. Unrealistic to win that in our division but we’re getting on the right track next yr it’s mandatory
Facts...Cowboys and Eagles are still better. 2-3 year project
@BillByham they might suck but they didn't lose to many players that made them a playoff team last year.
It's like we are an expansion team. I say 9 or 10 wins.
I have actually said that. "It is an Expansion Franchise with an 80 year history."
Sure. 10 wins...IF...............we trade for Aiyuk, and convince Bakhtiari and Gilmore to sign. Short of that, no way in H E double toothpicks.
LMAO!!!!! Over the next two years combined, definately.
With the changes on defense, a defensive minded coach, an improved running game, a mobile quarterback that can actually throw the ball, and additional weapons on offense like a stud TE and a dawg at WR (McCaffery) and we already have Terry and Jahan! If we gel, The Commanders will be a problem!
I can see 10 wins this year. I know one thing, we're not gonna roll over for anyone!! We should sweep the Giants and split with Cowboys and Eagles. Play good teams tough and be explosive. Play to win, go on 4th downs, a la the Detroit Lions. The main thing is to keep our guys fresh and healthy and improve each week. Best coaching staff of all-time is here now!!!
The whole point of this years free agency was to set a new culture, a new standard in the building. I don’t ever foresee them signing a big name free agent because Adam Peters isn’t looking to do that. You supplement through free agency and build through the draft. The hope is that our talent and superstars are those who we have drafted and you can already see that plan with guys we drafted in the later rounds. Magee sits behind Wagner this year and Hampton behind Chinn. If Chinn balls out then they’ll likely resign him but Hampton is your plan
10 wins seems a little crazy. Gotta love preseason optimism. When is the last time a team hired new coaches, implemented a new offense with a rookie QB with over 60% year over year roster turnover and had a winning record let alone 10 wins? I bet it’s incredibly rare. Commanders still might be the worst team in the division.
Daniels is not playing 17 games. Not with his upright running style and penchant for running after his first read isn’t open. Mariotta will start some games. Commanders will probably be drafting in the top 5 again next season. If several things go right, maybe they get to 8 wins.
The Texans improved from 3 wins to 10 wins. Why not us?
Great point 👍🏽 people opinions doesn't really matter
@@troyanthony9354they hit on the draft...Hopefully we can say the same.
I really do think things are looking good for us. I say 10-7 with a playoff run. Maybe even 11-6.
This team has the potential to be a playoff team next year, but everything would have to go right. I feel like they have an about average NFL roster, so 8-9 would be a reasonable expectation for me but they can outperform that very easily if a few of the rookies turn out to be studs.
Not a chance. We will be a 4 or 5 win team. Jayden is a rookie ya'll, his offensive line is fucking atrocious. This is a rebuild it is going to take a couple of years.
The biggest argument for drafting Jayden Daniels over the higher upside candidate in Drake Maye was the potential to win now because Daniels was seen as pro ready. They have to win now or there will be serious second guessing about that decision going forward.
Not winning more then 5 games again. Gonna take atleast 2 years and that’s IF Daniel’s is good
Alright, calm down everyone.
Danny looks like he curls 50 pound dumbbells
Fairy tales can come true,
It can happen to you....
Our WR room will be better than last year, Kliff has a chance to draw up some great plays and he’s a better OC than EB, and if JD can keep his mistakes low and OL can offer more than 2 seconds before sack then we’ll be okay.
And our secondary shows up, and JD stays healthy, and, and, and lol
If we win 8 games this season should be considered a success
We about to be a 6-7 win team with this line...a joke
They gonna blitz the rookie
Ceiling 8 wins floor 3 wins
11 wins, superbowl
I can see 8 max this year.
Vegas odds are 7.5 o/u wins, which is more than last year's 6.5..?
I'd guess 7-8 wins.
Nah fam
Undefeated‼️
5-12
7-9
10 wins is a big stretch I think. 6-8 wins is more realistic
Not according to A.I.
You forget they have an elite coaching staff as well. Former head coaches as coordinators who can coach. A GM who assembled the niners roster who drafted the most athletic players in the draft who were also team captains, combined with veteran players who played on championship teams
@@doron_judah4573we all know it takes a season or 2.
@@mikelawry7304 im with you guys on 6-9 wins but i know it is possible to leap frog to a 10+ win team. The roster is skilled enough for it now it jus depends on how they play and how well coaching is
😂😂why because we won 4 games? I wish y’all would learn the game of football
NO. 😂
7 wins. Somehow didnt address LT, RT or CB as of yet. Missed on Keenan Allen, a true number 1 receiver. I believe Jayden is good for 2 more wins as a rookie and the defensive upgrades give us an additional W.
We didn’t miss on anything Adam said from jump they wasn’t doing no big trades or big signings and LT will for sure be addressed next year can’t fix everything in one season
Brandon Coleman drafted from TCU and Wylie will continue to be RT. Drafted DB mike sanistril
@@doron_judah4573Mike ain't really a CB1 or CB2 more of a slot corner or safety.
@@doron_judah4573 Sainristil is a slot. I think we need an outside corner to go against AJ Brown, CeeDee, Devante Smith and Nabers in the division. Maybe they can develop Forbes
@@jamesbroady3604 True, but Sairistill makes the outside jobs easier. I agree still would like to see an upgrade at CB but it's not real weak.
The improved coaching staff minus any talent acquisitions I think yields use at least two or three additional wins. I'll say 6-11 or 7-10 anything above that is gravy.
Come from up under that 🪨 where you've been living. They acquired plenty of talent and got rid of dead weight.
@@PrinceOfDarkness78still an expansion team with new schemes, nee rookie QB, and new players at just about every position. If Coleman is an allpro maybe 8 wins
It’s about being competitive. No more blowouts, and experience winning some close games. Our one year guys don’t be surprised if some of them turn into longer deals of this thing gels.
I would agree that a 10 win team would have been possible if they had done a better job drafting and improving the o-line. They will be better but only by 3-4 wins
