Fair opinion. A lot of the technical opinions are true, but as a whole, I was having a lot of fun in the game. I was enjoying the story and the exploration and I found the combat to be fine. I'm looking forward to release. They said they are revamping the combat so I'll be curious to see how that goes, but I would give the game an 8 out of 10 right now and I was also super impressed by how well it ran. I see a lot of potential in it.
How you play 22-25 hours and only get level 25 , I played 11 hours just questing and got to level 50 last night. Literally can get level 20 in 30 minutes to an hour
I did all the cutscenes and side quests. I also explored a little bit in each zone and I stopped to do the events like the wolf hunt, the goblin magic dust, and the escort in the red flower plains. I also did the doctor boss in the Carmine forest (level 18 or so quest) at 1am, which turned out to be a level 40 boss. There were about 20 of us, but it took us 40 minutes to bring him down because he was so high level and half our attacks would miss. I didn't rush through everything. If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could blast to level 50.
I have heard a lot of the reviews on this game say that you can just play for free and just farm lumen in game but not a single one of them mention the rate at witch you can earn in game . I guarantee the free to play rate is drastically longer thus putting all free to play players far behind people that spend real world money therefore this game is still p2w. So I think it would wise to remember that beforehand that way you won't get as jaded as quickly.
The reason why you get to play the game for free is because of those who spend real money. You expect to progress the same rate as someone who spends money while you are f2p ? 😂 This is not candy land
@@ye_nope oh I'm not sure you got my meaning I don't expect any f2p player to progress at the same rate or to even be able to play the game for free without the players that pay real money. What I was trying to get at was the fact that most videos including this one are glossing over that this game is still pay to win no matter how you look at it . That is the only point I was trying to highlight.
Yeah I'm hoping they can spend a little more time on it and polish that out. Since it's free to play, I will probably give it another go on launch just to see if they make any adjustments.
@@Maxxramus24 Yeh though u do have to buy the game then it's free to play. I actually thought it was completely free so I was going to try it but not now lol. There is a big skill system coming later but I'm not willing to try right now based on the game as it is. I'm very picky with MMO combat though so I might be a minority here.
@@Maxxramus24 Hmm that is very odd as I initially thought it was free too but then someone in a streamers chat alerted me that it wasn't. I then checked the steam page and it has a price to buy however upon looking at this now I see that says pre purchase early access...hmm. So maybe the person in the streamer chat has misunderstood and that it is actually free! (I hope so). If it is I may try it a 3rd time when they add the new skill system lol.
Love how people misunderstand things, then tell those things to other people and so on it goes on and on. They have 3 different 5 day early access packs with cosmetics that are buyable. But on 17th september, when it officially launches, it is free to play.
Yeah sorry. I built my pc 5 or 6 years ago and went all out. But of course, parts become obsolete over time and I probably need to upgrade. This is the first game I've run into that my video card struggled. The shadows in this game are very detailed, but just drop my frames super fast. I had to run the game on medium for the video.
@@MDog_FPV Really? That's crazy. Even when I wasn't recording or streaming, I set it on Epic for myself just to see and the shadows just murdered my system. That's a bummer if even the good cards are struggling. =(

Yeah I hope they are able to get everything polished up before release. I'd love to check out the pvp stuff in the end game. :)

Really enjoyed the game didn’t like the weapons skills but it’s ok. Loved the graphics, only got to like 1 dungeon was pretty decent.

I can't play it due to the combat, it's so bad imo. I wanted to find a new home. I love everything else about it but just can't enjoy the combat.

@@keblin86 Odd. I spoke to one of the devs yesterday and they stated no box price and that early access is 100% optional.

It's free to play. You can buy an early access pack to play 5 days before the relase date. It will be free for everyone at 12.09.24.
I believe you are mistaken. There is an early access to the game that you can purchase, but the game is free to play on official launch day.

@@Maxxramus24 I recently built mine and went all out (4090 custom water loop) and I still have to run it on medium or my water temp goes over 50c lol
