Memory verse:
And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt. Exodus 3:9-10

Summary of the sermon:
When the people of Israel were slaves of Egypt, their number grew. The king of Egypt, Pharaoh, persecuted the people of Israel and ordered to kill all the baby boys of Israel. At that time, a baby boy was born in a family. His mother hid him for 3 months, got a papyrus basket for him, and put him inside the basket and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. Then Pharaoh’s daughter found the basket, opened it, and saw the baby. She drew him out of the water and named him, ‘Moses’. Until Moses became 40 years old, he grew up and was educated well as the prince of Egypt.
One day, he saw an Egyptian beating the people of Israel. He got angry, killed him, and ran away from Egypt and went to live in Midian. Moses married a woman named Zipporah and stayed in his father-in-law’s house.
After a long time, Moses became 80 years old. One day, he went up to Mt. Horeb and was surprised because there was a bush in flames of fire. At that time, God called to him. “Moses. Now, go to rescue the people of Israel out of Egypt. But Moses said, “Lord, I can not do it.” God said to him, “Your brother, Aaron, will help you out and I will be with you at all times.” So, Moses went to Pharaoh with Aaron and asked him to let the people of Israel go. But he refused.

So, God sent 9 plagues to Egypt through Moses but Pharaoh did not let the people of Israel go. Finally, God sent the last plague to Egypt. This was to kill the firstborn life of everything. The son of Pharaoh also died and he let the people of Israel go. They finally got out of being slaves.

God called Moses to get the people of Israel out of Egypt. He helped him and was with him at all times. Likewise, God always loves, protects us, is with us, and leads us well.
Prayer:
Father God. Thank you for your grace and love. We know that only you protect and lead us at all times. Let us only hold on to you and follow you with all our hearts. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
