Hey there. I’m so glad you enjoyed Dark Town. And I’m glad to hear about the audiobook. I haven’t received much feedback on the narration, but Lindsey Dorcus is awesome and I’m glad it worked for you. I’m also glad you’re enjoying Janny Wurts’s Curse of the Mistwraith. I’m in the middle of Fugitive Prince, the third or fourth book in that series (depending on how you count them… one printing has books two and three in an omnibus edition, which I love), and I’m really enjoying it.
@PalmerPickering Hey! You are so welcome!!! Thank you for sharing it with me. It was so fun and the audio was great, her voice is very cozy and fits the story so well. Now I have to decide if I want to do Heliotrope next or dive into that trilogy😁 Oh nice you are rolling through that! I have some catching up to do!
As always man you put so much good stuff on my radar! So excited for all your reads but especially The Way of Kings, can't wait to hear what you think of that when you're done!
Been having a devil of a time this last week. Haven't been able to read or write. Taking the boys to the beach for their Fall Break. Hoping this rejuvenates me.
@brandon5080 I hear you, it's just how it goes sometimes. And that's okay!!! Recharge and don't put stress on yourself. I get that way too and reading/writing needs to be a fun escape. If we let it be forced it stops being fun! I hope fall break can rejuvenate you like you said!!!
You’ve read some good books! I just finished The Magicians by Lev Grossman yesterday and I loved it! 5 stars from me for sure. I will be tracking down the next 2 of the trilogy for sure. I haven’t made up my mind what I’m going to read next yet.
I want to read that trilogy too! And his new one, Bright Sword! That's a good feeling to have a wide open spot!!! Make sure to let me know what you choose!
Dude! Sounds like an amazing reading month! I've been bouncing between various epic fantasy books and some historical non-fiction (gotta feed my Roman history obsession), but I'm looking forward to Curse of the Mistwraith--technically I'll be getting back to that. Cheers, and hope your October is off to a good start!
@@TheBeardedBookBeast for sure! I've been reading and enjoying Nick Holmes's series, The Fall of the Roman Empire, and I'm currently on book 3, Rome and Attila: Rome's Greatest Enemy. Really fascinating stuff: although I'm familiar with the story of the fall of the (Western) Roman Empire, it's always good to read another account and gain more perspective and insight. I'm planning to read Adrian Goldsworthy's Pax Romana next. How about you, any favorites?
If you’re enjoying The way of kings, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts about words of radiance. Sledge is on the radar for me so I hope I will be picking it up in just a few weeks.
I'm so happy my reading is kicking off like never before. I am really into YA right now I think this is what I needed from all the chunky books I was reading for awhile. I just finished book 1, 2, 3, and about an hour ago the 4th book in The Indian in the Cupboard series I loved the first book growing up and I have similar reads I want to read after Spooky Season. I have the 5th book on order right now. For a week there I was reading 2 books at a time my first book for the season.
Glad you enjoyed Death Metal Bard! Honored to have you in my ARC mosh pit!
@robleigh3295 🤟Heck Yeah brother!!! It was so good dude!!! Now I'm itching to read Pathlighter and may have to blow up my tbr😂
Hahaha haircut intermission between Dirge, love it. Thanks so much for the shoutout legend, glad you enjoyed it!
@calumlott Hahahaha I know, it was an odd moment😂 You are so welcome thanks for sharing it with me I LOVED it!
Thanks for the shout-out brother!
Of course, so excited for you and your channel my friend!
Wait Janny does her covers too?? That's so cool. So many of these on my TBR. Glad you enjoyed Silence!

Yes, you need to get it on the tbr bro it's awesome!
@@TheBeardedBookBeast I bought it so I just need to read it! If I have time this month I may squeeze it in
@@Already-Overbooked Nice! It's a great quick read and palate cleanser between bug fantasy reads!
Great wrap up! I'm going to have to start reading more novellas.
@mikemollman1869 Hahaha right!? I live how quick of reads they are and it's amazing how much authors can do with a short novella!
Dude, Elantris and Warbreaker are two of my faves from Brandon. Also glad your daughter is okay, but wow what a Rory Gilmore moment! 😂
Yesss, glad it's not just me! They were great! Thanks Josh, me too. Hahaha yes it really was a Rory moment😂
Oooh I really wanna get into Sledge! And I cant wait to get my copy of Death Metal Bard!!
They are both so AWESOME!!!!

Thanks man! I am so pumped. I'm excited to focus hardcore on Stormlight starting in November and see if I can make it in time for wind and truth!
A solid list of reads. Some are on my wishlist already, but I feel it will only grow longer as I watch your channel.
@@Darclin17 Thank you! Hahaha, mission accomplished then😂 What are you reading this week?
@@TheBeardedBookBeast I'm focusing on The Justice of Kings by Richard Swan right now, then Chopping Spree by Angela Sylvaine.
@Darclin17 Justice of Kings rocks! Let me know what you think when you finish! Hoping to finish that trilogy in 2025. Chopping spree is a sick title!
Seems like you’re doing a killer job balancing all of life’s tasks Chris. Excited to get reading and discussing with you
Glad to hear you loved the second Vampire book. Halfway through I’m stoked to continue the series
