This project is cute.I love your outside stitching spot. But If I rested a frame like you did, I would probably stab myself in the leg with my needle. Great job!

Hi! Thank you so much! I don’t stab my leg because I have right hand below the frame which goes to the right. I rest the frame on the left leg to have the stitching spot on the right from the leg. And the right leg lays down, so it is safe. It might be tricky to do depends on which spot you stitch at the moment. In such case I can rotate the frame by 180 degrees or just add some wood on the right to keep the frame above my legs

You are such a fast stitcher! I get mesmerized watching the stitches.

Oh, thank you! But I am not always as fast as I want to be. Sometimes I have to cut long pauses in my videos when a needle did not wake up in a good mood 🤗

I have my pattern, fabric (18 count Natural Oatmeal Aida), and all my floss except 3 skeins. I am planning on working full cross since i dont like the foggy appearance of half cross. I am making a new frame using your tutorial. Thank you! Now, I can't wait to Finally get started. Vivian Ann living 100% off grid on the side of the mountain in northeast Tennessee

That’s so exciting to be ready for new start! I would not wait for last three colours and would start right away 😁.
I noticed that on Goblen 25ct even with original dmc floss it is great coverage and canvas is not visible. You can have a look on it with my cute owl project.
But for light colours pictures I like even 22ct with tent stitch.
Hope you’ll like your new frame and it will last long for you 🤞
It should be very interesting experience to live 100% off grid. Close to the nature 🥰
      Happy stitching! 🪡🥰

@@StitchingMasterpieces I hope to purchase "Castle in the Sky" soon. Then, I can start saving $ to purchase the supplies. Does it also have a lot of blended stitches? Vivian Ann

@2ladyhomesteadershodge898 Hi! Castle in the Sky has 76 solid and 49 blend colours. If you need it in advance, I can send you floss length count so you know which one you need to buy. Starting in the mid September we are going to have discounts of the week. I don’t know which one will be selected for a discount for any particular week, but It is possible that at some point Castle in the Sky will be on discount as well.

@@StitchingMasterpieces Yea! Yes, I would love to get started on purchasing floss, so the DMC floss numbers would be great. I am currently assembling my floss envelope/baggie for Hobbiton. I currently have a free pattern from HAED on my frame (Forest Maiden). She is beautiful. Anyway, I will keep my eyes open for a possible discount on "Castles in the Sky". I am so excited to start Hobbiton. I just know it will go perfectly with my Rivendale and Middle Earth Map. Thank you for all that you do. Living off grid, I have found that it's the simple things that bring lasting joy. May God bless you and yours. Vivian Ann

@2ladyhomesteadershodge898 sounds good! Send me an email with your canvas count to stitching.masterpieces@gmail.com and I will respond to you with all the dmc colours and their length.
I am totally agree with you. One of cool features of the full coverage designs that they long lasting. So, every day expense is not so high, but result is amazing and the process very relaxing and enjoyable
You have lots of amazing stitching plans! All your projects are very great choice! 🥰

Can you please tell me what size and kind of needle you use?

    • @StitchingMasterpieces
      @StitchingMasterpieces  Місяць тому +1

Hi! I bought these needles from this store a.aliexpress.com/_oDCGA7l
It is 26ct needles for Aida 14 and 16; Hardanger
28ct needles for Aida 18 and Lugana
26ct needles but sharp for Congress and goblen (usually they send all different ones in one bag and I separate sharp and blind ones)
Sometimes I use 24ct for stamped canvas when I need to stitch with 3 strands
