This is really a hard one :D There is no question that your transoition skills are awesome and you know what you are doing in Pr and Ae but for me it was way too much transitions. It felt for me like a learning video how to do different kinds of fast transitions but because it was soo much I did not feel anything. The story was missing and I had no connection to any of those beautiful shots. Thats what I meant with "hard one" cause its perfectly made but way too fast and too much transitions in my opinion.
Thanks for the feedback! I was making this as more of a show reel to highlight the AE skills for upcoming proposals. But I'll definitely take your feedback into account. I'm more of a run and gun filmer hence it's always been hard to figure out a story within my videos. I need to take more thought into the final video even before I start filming. What you see in the video is pretty much 99% unplanned apart from the first shot haha
Mechvisual I honestly don’t think there needs to be story for this particular video, especially when it’s based on your trips around the world. I much prefer transitions as opposed to the straight cuts everybody does. Great video by the way, as good as Benn TK! The most important thing though is that you enjoyed your time travelling/holidaying. Hope to see more videos from you. If you could do tutorials that would be even greater! All the best and glad you went into videography 👍🏼
