Bergvall and spence stepped up big time and dragusin looked comfortable. Only worry is solankes lack of goals but he works his socks off. Kulu excellent as usual and big up to sonny best display in ages.
Them going from 3 at the back to 4 was mad fr RM considering how much we’ve struggled against wing backs and they’d played that all season just to change before this game!? I liked RM but that was a terrible tactical decision and we’d destroy him for that if he was our manager
I've been told by a friend in Argentina who's mates with Ossie (or so he says) that it is highly unlikely there'll be any January signings. He also said Spurs are NOT looking for a keeper (they'll wait until the summer). Hope he's wrong about signings
You guys really focus on the negative way too much. We are spurs supporters, surely the team will give us enough negatives without us compounding the issues.
Is it cheaper or more expensive to actually do a proper rebuild where you give a manager time to build their squad over 4-5 seasons? We’ve failed to do this over and over, then brought in a manager of a complete different style, leave the squad a mish mash of 5 different managers. So if you actually stick with one manager, surely you won’t need 5+ new players every window. You’ll also have more settled players.
January pieces must be a set of wingers, especially on the right side. The next 5-10 years should be about Big Dom Solanke. What players and skill sets do we need in the wingers to make Big Dom rack up the numbers? The service is just not happening; it's not Dom. Once Ange and Spurs figure this out and sign the right kind of wingers, this side will reach a new level. Dom is the future.
Ben has to realise that whatever "stinkers" (Ben's words, not mine) Maddison has had have mostly come in games where the entire team didn't show up, such as Palace and Ipswich. Just as a striker depends on service, creative midfielders need support from the midfielders around him and runners off the ball. Let's not make Maddison a scapegoat and criticise his consistency. Our captain, Sonny, has gone missing as much as he has, as well as others.
It's gotten to the point where I can't get excited over a win like this as I know Spurs will be abysmal next weekend. Perhaps that says more about me though.

Dreadful??? Seasons not over yet matey! We've had an erratic start to the season. Which has been affected by injury. We've have the 3rd tightest defense in the premiership right now. Just need to work on consistency. Like some fans can consistently focus on negatives.

Clearly 0-5 up at half-time tells us everything about Southampton ( now managerless ) and nothing about our current form ( they ballsed up & we capitalised , basically )....So , we take the Emphatic Win of course ( 2 Wins in 9 ) , but hoping we've not exhausted our Goal scoring in this one game as Bigger games to come...Ange being Humiliated into playing Spence is not a good look at all. Poor squad management for all to see. Summing up ; good Win against a bang average side , will Not paper over the Crack's unfortunately....Let's see what happens I guess.

It wasn't that Spurs were good it was that Southampton were truly dreadful in the first half. They played better second half while Spurs fell asleep.
Spurs didn't fall asleep. They managed the game sensibly and allowed Soton to have the ball. Given our injury situation, I don't blame them

Not dreadful tbf we are just inconsistent. We have had pretty convincing win with big margins. But we just don't carry the same form next game
