  • 🔌 Anti-Raid - Backup Base Defence - RUST Electricity Guide 🔌
    So in this rust electricity guide, we go through protecting your base from raiders in Rust. When raiders hear a turret inside, they will destroy your solar panels or turbines and come back later when your batteries are dead and they don't have to deal with annoying sentry turrets.
    To combat this, we have a plan for a backup generator to kick in when the solar panels or wind turbines are destroyed. This will in turn, trigger a generator to automatically fire up and provide a backup system for your sentry turrets.
    All you need is 1 blocker, 1 route combiner, 1 generator, 1 battery, 1 splitter and 1 electrical branch. By putting power from your wind turbine into the side of the blocker, you will stop power from passing through the blocker. This will protect the automatic power on switch to the backup generator. Once the wind turbine is destroyed, no power will be going into the side of the blocker and power will be allowed to pass freely through to the back up generator input automatic start switch. In turn keeping your base running and keeping your raid defences active.
    This rust electricity guide is good for beginner and pros and also works with all of the updates of 2020.

    Great video as always.
    One question, might it be better for the generator to come on once the battery runs out of power rather than when the power source is destroyed?
    This would conserve fuel and/or prolong backup run time. It would require a more complicated circuit to feed both turret and battery, but I'm sure it can be done.

      Great point! and you're absolutely right. this would be easy to wire up too just by moving the location of the blocker!

    is there a way for sophisticated circuit? like using the unused power to recharge other batteries?

    • @AniCodYT
      @AniCodYT  3 роки тому

      yes there is. you can set some circuits up so the unused power goes back into a route combiner to recharge the battery. I will make a video on this soon and show you how :-)
