Top 10 All-Electric Street Motorcycles for 2023: New Alternatives to 125-250cc Bikes

- Traditional motorcycles with the displacement between 125 and 250 cc provide a good combination of power and efficiency. Moreover, these are always good choices for beginners who regularly travel within the city zones and don’t want to spend a lot on fuel. Even though low-displacement motorcycles are already affordable to ride and maintain, there are companies that don’t believe in the future of ICEs and are pushing for the zero-emission future.

For today’s video presentation we wanted to talk about ebike alternatives to traditional city bikes. These would be great for traveling within the urban areas, picking up groceries or just commuting for work. In video features both upcoming models as well as those already available for purchase. So, we talk about bike’s estimated time of sales, buying prices, major technical information, i.e. motor type and output, torque parameter generated at the wheel, battery chemistry and estimated range offered by it, smart infotainment systems and other information that you need to know before committing to the purchase of one of these.

Gimme the Ultraviolette and the Super 73! The ones without fast charging are absolutely not interesting to me.
Yeah! Bring ‘em on! I have a Metacycle and am disappointed, they sent the wrong color and won’t do anything to straighten this out. I’m going to see if the Zero Dealer will take it as a trade in. It’s never been registered and still has the plastic film on the lights. It’s just not the bike which was advertised, it’s over one hundred and thirty pounds heavier, I have a 72 Volt SurRon, 70 MPH +, 125#. The Metacycle looks big and awkward, the battery box hits your ankles and one of the attractive things (to me) was the Naked Aluminum, being painted black does away with that, and the reviews I have read are less than Stellar.

I honestly think we should stop hyping the Sondors or at least stop quoting their performance claims. It has just been proven to be way too far off of their real-world performance. Weight + 130lbs, top speed -10mph, range about 50-60% of what's claimed on my buddy's bike. He's very disappointed

@@Datacube their biggest mistake is their marketing. Had they halved their claims, those who still decided to buy it would have been happy with their purchase because they got what they expected. I'm looking forward to actual real world reviews but I'll skip their marketing campaign
@@Coercedthat way of thinking should always be applied, even if there claims are true, you never know what’s different or has poor build quality, or software issues like the Solar E-clipse had an issue where around every 40 miles it would turn off and need to be turned on.

You neglected to mention one of the main innovations of the Ryvid Anthem. The battery is hot swappable. It also has built in wheels so you can roll it away from the bike to charge in your home or office.

I’m sure glad I paid the full price and gave Sondors an interest free loan for over two years! Now they’re knocking $2,500 off. If I was wasn’t a stock holder in both Sondors Ebike Company and their Car Company I’d be complaining bitterly about them shipping me the WRONG COLOR and IGNORING ME TOTALLY. I definitely hope they do well but I certainly think their Customer Service needs a little work. Waaa, waaa, waaa. My problems are so First World…My life is so great, this is my worst problem!
I moved across the street and can’t seem to get unpacked…the boxes have become tables. I can’t find anything I used to have and am finding stuff I don’t need and can’t imagine why I bought/have it. I guess I’m just going to register the METACYCLE Monday and start riding it. Maybe see if Sondors will take it as a trade-in on one of their new Dirt/Enduro Bikes they are teasing.

@@Datacube I don’t know. But my SurRon only weighs 110 pounds, maybe 125 with the 72 Volt CHI Battery and BAC4,000 controller. The Metacycle was advertised @ 200# and that’s the weight they are talking about for the Dirt/Enduro they’re trolling.
I'll come back when you have a motorcycle that I can ride at 80 MPH nonstop for at least 300 miles before any charge? 400 non-stop miles would be even better? I'll check back later.

European price is 90-100K. Save another 40-50K and get a Livewire Del Mar with out of the roof specs

Isn't Part of the thrill of riding a motorcycle the SOUND!!!! Throttling through the gears ! Battery bikes make no noise, I don't like em.

I wouldn't call say the Triumph 400 a toy; 100 mph, mins to charge, all weather machine, no near full cost of the bike battery replacement, and it won't explode, and not made by amateurs no one has ever heard of. @@Datacube

Most of these E bikes/motor bikes have no, or extremely useless mudguards, and are only for countries where it doesn't ever rain!
