Too bad they didn't address it when the light first came on. That would be smart.

My guess is unburned fuel from the misfire caused the catalytic converter to clog up and resulted in too much back pressure. And that would cause the lack of acceleration and low power.

Clean or replace M.A.F.S.
And Air filter.
