To be blunt, be careful about someone being quick to remove your parts. Once they’re gone you can’t ever get them back. I’ve heard horror stories from women who wished they could reverse their decision to have a hysterectomy, their hormones are all out of whack. Praying for you whatever you choose.
I was diagnosed with adenomyosis too. It was so difficult with the pain. But like some other posters said, my pain gradually decreased and went away. It is so hard to make these decisions. I wish you the best. BTW you will not regret home schooling. You cannot get back that time with your sweet children and you have control over what they learn and don't learn. It can be tough some days but it is totally worth it.
I'm 55 this yr and had a hysterectomy at 30.. overies left in... Best day of my life... I had fibroids and was bleeding 3 weeks of every month and severely enimeic. Do what's best for you.. you will be ok❤❤ much love from Australia 🦘
You have had all kids so way not have a hysterectomy if it will correct the issue. Having periods every month has no benefits to the body...unless trying for baby! Period free "bliss".!
I’m 38 and had a hysterectomy due to multiple tumors in my ovaries. I would have NEVER had one if it wasn’t medically necessary. I had the hysterectomy with a bilateral salpingo and oophrectomy. It’s not a light decision and I’ve had multiple issues after and complications, including two more surgeries. My hormones have been very difficult to manage as well. I would start light, because you cannot go back. If only I had the choice.
I hope you get a second opinion . They told me to have that I won't do it. But I didnt have your symptoms. Aaryn your young still just make sure its a healthy decisions. Wish you well. You looked so pretty at Lunch. Love Ginger salad ❤
Listen to the skinny confidential podcast episode called the truth about breast implant illness. The hysterectomy topic is very popular after implants. Who knows but hope you start to feel your best soon🩷☺️
I had a hysterectomy at 49 because of fibroids! They took everything! It was such a blessing! I never felt better! No worries about uterine cancer, ovarian cancer! I’m 75 now and never regretted it a day since! I took hormone replacement until 55 when I would have gone through menopause naturally! Then stopped and all is well!
Get the right kind of hysterectomy. If you remove the round and broad ligament the husband well.. has a problem. Get the right one or have a repair, a Dr. In AZ. designed her own to avoid the intimacy shock. View a picture of the area to see how things can change.
Miss Aaron, I had the same thing as yourself. But they kept my overies even with my endometriosis. I had so many problems and passing out from the pain. I was so happy to get it done. I have never felt better. I was 29. Sending you positive thoughts and much relief coming your way soon. 💜💜
Sending lots of love & prayers ❤️ I know this is a tough decision, pray about it ❤ this may be controversial..however... when I hear things like you can be any " gender" you want well... things like this prove we are the sex God made us & it's a mockery for people to say otherwise. You're a beautiful mom to 4 daughters & having a WOMAN'S health issues. ❤
I too kept getting blood in my urine. After a few tests I found out it was kidney stones on my right kidney. The stones are pretty small and should not cause pain. Which is true to this day. I wouldn't have known had I not had an ultrasound. The only annoying thing was the blood in my urine. Well I'm going for a shoulder replacement and also elbow replacement on my right arm. I guess when I start having tests to get me ready, they will see if there is still blood in my urine. I hope you get your health problem solved . I believe a hysterectomy should be the last straw . It's only my opinion. You do you Aaron. It's just your still pretty young and absolutely gorgeous. I just hope it all goes well for you, and what you decide, Is your business. Love to you and your beautiful family. God bless 🙏😍😍
I had a hysterectomy at 30 and left ovaries and I’m almost to my one year post op appointment and it was hands down the best thing I could have ever done!!! My iron is normal and I can’t even tell you how much better I feel. My doctor was like we could try an ablation to but she was like it’s a band aide for a broken arm. If you have any questions I don’t mind answering anything.
I'm not a Doctor, but sometimes when you have your period some blood can travel up your urinary tract an mix in your urine, so when you go to take a urine test itll have blood in it. This can also cause a burning feeling in the tract, similar to a uti, when tested will give you a negative for a urinary tract infection.
I didn’t have a choice but to have a partial. I’ve been on 1 ovary gor 16 years. About 2 years ago I started progesterone 3x/week and a testosterone cream Sunday only. My estrogen is perfect. I was terrified about menopause and whatever but really my ovary lasted a long ass time and you’ll have 2! I’m barely into peri menopause. Once in a while, I may get flushed or feel hot, but that passes in a few seconds really for me. There’s nothing else really negative I have for my experience. Do what’s best for you. Follow Dr recs and how you feel. Don’t listen to scare tactics not hey it’s peachy no prob. It is emotional. Even if you weren’t planning on having kids, there’s just some thing about that choice being taken from you? Even though it’s to improve your health. That took a little while for me to get over so they’re downsides and upsides to everything. This is just my story
Hi Aaryn, first sending prayers that you get confident answers soon. While it's a completely different situation, I just wanted to share that when my son was an infant, a pediatric urologist wanted to do a very extensive surgery on him to treat a problem that turned out to not exist. Without getting into details, that surgery could have affected him his whole life and we just waited and got more opinions. When I learned that it was completely pointless, I was so angry that they would jump to that because I'm sure many parents would have gone along with it. Maybe it's necessary - but take your time, as you are doing!
Have you tried the Starbucks pistachio cold brew? I wasn't a fan but wanted to know your "go to" there. Lately, I've been a salted caramel cold brew with an extra shot. BTW, good luck on your hysterectomy venture. I had one after my four kids. I gained weight like crazy but hey- no periods! I have endometriosis badddd. ♡ hugs to you all
My mother had a hysterectomy about 10 years ago due to prolapse. She was around 60ish at the time. She chose to keep her ovaries and hasnt looked back since and hasnt had any problems. If anything over the past year she had felt more menopause symtops (which we all know is linked to hormones). However she went full meno at 50, im peri at 46. What im getting at is we both recently started taking a chinese herbal blend for hormones and omg ..... I can think again (im doing a degree so i need to lol) and all my body paid dissapeared. So where im going with this is, if you do choose to go down the road of hysterectomy there are alternative to help you if you run into hormonal troubles. Of course you have to do what is best for you, but I wanted to share a little of my story as comparison. I too have had many abnormal pap tests and cells removed and if it came down to it, yes I would have a hysterectomy for my own health and sanity.
Adenomyosis 🔆often times🔆comes with a sister condition call endometriosis.., and often times with this case you may need excision surgery with a endometriosis specialist… Something to look into..
Best day in my life when I had my hysterectomy at 34. Removed my ovaries as well. I have never taken any medication for menapause. Which I went into immediately. Don't listen to everyone's horror stories.
I have had endometriosis and andenomyosis confirmed through surgery since 2021 and I am 32 now and I have made the decision to have a hysterectomy this summer. I’m done with the way I feel I can’t handle it any longer.
I was just diagnosed with this also about 2 weeks ago! I'm in the same boat. I don't want an IUD. My husband also had a Vasectomy. I was told an ablation would not work because that targets the lining of the uterus and the Adenomyosis is in the muscle. I don't experience too much pain but I do have a ton of blood loss leaving me severely anemic and almost passing out. I'm not sure what to do.
I had that blood in the urine too with no infection, turned out I had a kidney stone. Not sure though if that's what you are dealing with because you are bleeding from other areas too. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon. It is no fun to be dealing with those kinds of health issues.
I am so sorry that you are dealing with these health issues. I know how scary it can be. I had a hysterectomy at 40 due to long, heavy periods and lots of pain. I ended up having severe adhesions and they took out everything except my right ovary. I have to say that it's one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health. I didn't go into early menopause because I still have an ovary. I know you will make the best decision for you, but i wanted you to hear from someone who went through a hysterectomy and didn't regret it.
Gosh another operation? I know it’s important to take care of your body as a woman but having to go through another major surgery so soon seems like a lot on you at the moment. You seem so resilient and that’s a good thing.
I was recommended a mirena for heavy bleeding but didn't want to take a hormone option. It's just not for me. I ended up taking tranmaxic acid which was life changing. These are really difficult decisions to make and I made sure I got a second opinion and consulted with our major womens hospital in Melbourne to make sure I knew exactly what the pathways forward were. Good luck and don't feel pressured into anything. This is your body.
How did you take the transexamic acid? Was it a shot or pill? And did you take it every menstrual cycle? I'm in the same boat and am looking for any info. Thx!@@tootsingtonfabulucy1050

Get off the birth control and go Keto do not get the hysterectomy. I swear its from pharmaceuticals . 4 months keto\ carnivore and i stopped bleeding after 18 months of postpartum bleeding. This is no joke they do not want you to know you can heal yourself.
Sex is never the same after having your uterus removed! Your bladder and rectum can prolapse as well, like mine did since they're all enter connected, that require even more surgeries. I'd go the lesser route if I could do it again, then go from there, so many do get relief for a couple years or never comes back . Best of luck....,
Aaryn, please turn to your faith and ask GOD to heal you because it is written that by His stripes we are healed, HalleluYAH 🙏🏼✝️🛐🩸. Hidden blood in urine can be a sign of a stuck, harmless kidney stone. ( they did some tests on me to diagnose it).
I had that blood in the urine too with no infection, turned out I had a kidney stone. Not sure though if that's what you are dealing with because you are bleeding from other areas too. Hope you get to the bottom of it soon. It is no fun to be dealing with those kinds of health issues.
