What do you guys think about the memory pods in Twilight Town? Where do you guys think Subject X is? Do you think the two are connected? Its wierd now thinking about kingdom hearts 4 after waiting and speculating so long about kh3

And so the clever little sneak, Nomura, didn't let us visit the basement lab in KH3 because he didn't want to draw more attention to the memory pods, or make the clues even more obvious thanks to the possible details allowed by Unreal graphics, and he wants to keep the mystery about it further. Probably also hoped that nobody will dig up KH2 to do their detective work, but alas.
Maybe Sora will run into her during his trails to return home.
His dinner is still wating for him and his mom probably doesn't even know he's gone.
Seems like namine going tp play a big part in the next kingdom hearts game. Her character is all about memories i hope she actually learns to fight and goes on the journey with Kairi.
And maybe the reason we can't go inside the mansion is cause there is the answer to Skuld and that goes to your theory of Skuld probably being in the data version of Twilight Town

I wouldn't be surprised if other keyblade wielders from the ancient past were on those pods too. There were more than 1 after all.
You should do a theory video on Ava's heart potentially being inside Kairi -- hence Naminé and Kairi look nothing alike, similar to Roxas looking like Ventus instead of Sora. Also why she has the power to control memories and such.

Xinhe 252 Namine is a special nobody; she only exists because Kairi was in Sora when he stabbed himself with the keyblade in kh1. Usually, a princess of light can’t create a nobody, but these circumstances made it happen. The result was someone who looks like kairi, but has light hair and is themed with white, both representing how Namine was created from someone of pure light.
(I do think it’d be cooler if Ava were involved though - that would explain why Kairi’s keyblade has a similar them to hers, although this could alternatively be explained with Ava as Kairi’s grandmother too)

Skuld is the Subject X and Isa and Lea's friend, and maybe she got to the present time like Ven in BBS cause in one of the new story updates Brain told both Ven and Skuld about time travel

I am saying when it comes to Sora, it seems like anything is possible, even if Sora and co would likely be too weak to face them properly at their first meeting.
Then again, who's to say he won't find that amusing either way.
One of the things i was thinking was Ventus getting his original darkness back. Who knows what he is really capable of with all his power and memories?
Also, maybe Aqua, who wasn't as important as i would have hoped in KH3 can get her original Keyblade and armor back which would have been useful.
Her original armor is under the castle in hollow bastion if I'm correct so she just needs to take a quick trip down there to retrieve them.

I just found your channel and I'm so fascinated wow I love your theories keep up the great work!
I'd like to point out that in kingdom hearts union cross, Skuld only appears after Ava talks to Ephemer. all interactions between Skuld and Ava are almost non Existent and when they do interact its very off. This is because Ava wanted to do more then just be a Foreteller and wanted to help her dandelions. in secret she got the help of her Chirithy to help go undercover and take on the other personality Skuld. who is friends with Ephemer. the times you see Ava with Sculd i believe this is when she gets her Chirithy to take on the form of ava or skuld depending on the situation.
This in turn would cause her to still be with the dandelions after the foretellers to vanish after the keyblade war. (The master of masters told her not to fight in the keyblade war but yet go to another world with her dandelions. (as luxu said she had her own mission and she completed it. which is why she isnt there at the end of KH3)
Upon changing worlds with her dandelions under the appearance of Skuld, her along with the other Dandelions have lost their memories. Sclud being Ava and vice versa created a memory displacement for her to become known as "X" where she mentions 4 friends of whom she joined forces with. The dandelions. (Fortellers = 7 / Dandelions = 5 ) then refering to the Foretellers when saying " may your heart be your guiding light." this backs the theory that Skuld is Ava who is X.
i do like your idea for memory pods having a role to play moving forward it is something i do think can come in again, however i do not believe she is still within this world line. as in KH3 we saw Ephemer's Will or Spirit Help in the keyblade graveyard meaning that we can expect something else to happen there within union cross that causes him to become this Will or Spirit.
Thinking about how Ava/Skuld were friends this tragedy could have been the catalyst to escape the data realm they had been in for so long since before the og keyblade war as they kept dealing with glitches and bugs because time kept going on outside of this ( lets call it Dataworld for easy understanding. )
So in this Dataworld we went to because of the foretellers was to save keyblade wielders for the future. this in turn meant that the glitches and such of that world were warning that it was ending soon. it was confirmed by a few characters that people lost their memory of the kleyblade war that had happened and it was replaced with something else and that they were stuck repeating the same scenarios over and over. this is because it was a set program and when brain went to mess it up he was a virus. which began the glitches. brain is also the one who killed Strelitzia given she glitches out a few times after her death hinting at who did it. Once they would escape this Dataworld ( who really knows how ) they would lose their memories , Van would be found by xehanort , and X was found by Ansem , Ephemer turned into a Will-Spirit , Brain caused the glitches as a Virius , Lauriam fell to darkness and became a nobody.
Another thing could be that Skuld/Ava wanted this Dataworld to continue because it was the one place she could be around Ephemer and after the keyblade war she had really lost him. and thus the one we are seeing would be a data replica.
Id really like to see a scene where Van talks to his Chirithy now that his Heart is whole, would he be able to recall the events of the past and be the new catalyst for the upcoming titles?

I don’t think the pods were used to give Maluxia and the others memories back, but rather was used to recreate aka reanimate them. I believe they were actually created just based off memories aka lux. As seen in KH3 Ephemera’s spirit seems to just be around in realm of light. It’s possible all the dandelions had that happen to them and their spirit gathers at the land of departure/castle oblivion. Namine was able to piece them together and recreate them. I know it sounds crazy but remember Sora went to the final world got pieced back together and then Travelled through time. It is something that has certainly happened before.

Good theory! I'm not really sure what to think, besides that Subject X is most likely Skuld. Very interesting thoughts though! I guess all we can do is wait and see lol. Maybe we'll get some more clues to this in one of the KH3 updates :]
so um.... what in the hell possessed ansem to abduct children in the first place? the timeline strongly implies that he committed crimes against humanity before xehanort arrived. he was just the first to quit.
What do you mean? Ansem is just Terra-Xehanort's heartless in Riku's body. Technically, Master Xehanort had premeditated thoughts to kidnap Ventus as a vessel already. Pretty sure this is considered a crime against humanity. Also, not to complicate things even further of who came before who, Master Xehanort didn't arrive to the present time until he was re-completed, since Xenahort was no more and Terra-Xehanort was a completely new person and had no recollection of who he was. Therefore, making the statement true that Ansem came before Master Xehanort. The only reason Ansem stopped is due to Sora defeating him, and Riku controlling the darkness he had instilled into Riku. This makes Ansem the first "Xehanort" to be defeated.

@@Dreq458 I believe the Ansem Reports answered that question. It was due to his curiosity in the hearts. After figuring out the corridors to other worlds, he wanted to find the key to open the doors, in which, a girl which would lead him to it. That's when it lead onto Roxas and Naime and all that.

Don't you get that he is talking about Ansem, the Wise (the sage and king of Radiant Garden) instead of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness (Xehanort's heartless and Ansem, the Wise's former apprentice)?
What you are describing in your second comment, after the second sentence, was a report written by Xehanort under Ansem's name. It was Ansem's Report 10. One of the Secret Ansem's Reports, which were written by Ansem, the Wise, partially talks about something related to experiments that deal with the restoration of memories, but it's in relation to Xehanort's missing memories. Subject X was nowhere hinted at, and I think she wasn't even in the picture until Nomura smoked one recently and decided to include her in the story with the introduction of KH X and KH Union X. Originally, it was Xehanort who began abducting people to experiment with the darkness in people's hearts and the heartless. The thing about Ansem, the Wise sacrificing people in the name of his research is something new as of KH III.
@@TheNamelessOne888 did you not understand the second comment from me was pertaining to Ansem the Wise. The story of him abducting people is introduced in KH3 but has been implied in the prior games before. With the new details in KH3, we can assume to instate those new details and fill in the blanks from prior games. I'm not saying it's an old concept the creators intended from the beginning, I'm just providing information that's overlooked and can be observed if one looks at it again. Xehanort is Ansem the Wise's apprentice. He executed experiments Ansem had already started. It's possible for many to theorize Ansem the Wise has abduct people prior to KH3 not just because they simply slapped it in the KH3 storyline. Even in the ending KH2, his dialogues were filled with regrets of his experiments.
now that's a solid theory and one I haven't considered yet. Interesting...

I remember that when they tried to get access to the Digital Twilight Town, in Kingdom Hearts 3, they were blocked from doing so. We didn’t know who did it but maybe it was Skuld after she woke up in the Digital Twilight Town.
After Roxas returned to Sora in Kingdom Hearts 2, Ansem decided to put her in the Digital World with the Memory Pod. He also gives her a code to put into a back up computer in the Digital World after she wakes up. This code was made to prevent anyone from going into the Digital World and trying to find her, mainly Xehanort.
So, between Kingdom Hearts 2 and 3, she wakes up in the Digital World, but she hasn’t regained her memories. After she remembers what Ansem told her to do after she wakes up, she goes looking for the hidden backup computer and inputs the code. She agrees to do this because she is afraid of being Xehanort’s lab rat again and she is afraid of Xigbar/Braig/Luxu taking her away again. So she is awake in the Digital Twilight Town and waiting for Ansem to let her know that she can return to the real world. I imagine that she can contact him through the same computer she used to input the code.
I hope that in the future, Sora does meet her. Maybe when she meets Sora and sees him using the Keyblade, she will remember that she uses the Keyblade. After all, her being experimented on hasn’t worked so far. It may be better for her to remember through experience by interacting with others.

Great theory! I hope this is true and in the next game we can go back to the mansion in twilight town to get more answers and to finally explain all the lore about behind it. The unicorn symbols in the mansion must have something to do with the foretellers right? Sucked we couldn’t go in it in Kh3
To be honest, imho Subject X is kiari, and kiari is a reincarnated Ava like Luxu/Xigbar. The biggest reasons I've believed this since this information became public, is because kiari once lived at radiant gardens in the same time frame of young lea and isa, it was never explained how exactly she went from RG to Destiny islands, but we do know Subject X is a girl, was hidden away and existed in RG during young isa and lea days. There is references to believe Subject X was alive or has some connection to the keyblade war, and Luxu has shown that the original characters can still exist by passing along in vessels. Also, the cherry on the top for this theory is Ava did not make the Luxu gathering, and depending on when that happened, kiari was incapitated (xehanorts attack) and/or doesnt recall (or just isnt ava) an earlier life. Lastly it has been a very old school theory that kiari was keyblade wielder of light representative of Ava for that game.
Siilent R keeping tabs on this because this makes a lot of sense tbh. This would explain why she is always the one the bad guys are after and why ansem doesn’t want it to come up.
Ava was the representative for Illusion not light. RG became HB when Kairi was About 5, Subject X was already 15 or Older at this point...

Waking up without memories, Subject X would technically be nameless.
If Xehanort/Heartless!Ansem/Xemnas did his "anagram + X" naming thing, then there is a chance that Skuld might have been Norted.
BTW, if she had become a Nobody, would that have made her No. 0?

i personally think the only person that knows of her whereabouts is luxu. i think he's been holding her somewhere all this time. ansem looking for her isnt because luxu doesn't know, its that he is keeping information from the rest, just like org members look for the box even though luxu had it all along.
The Group that Survived the War (Ventus, Skuld, Brain etc.) have no memory of before the War. but what if it is Strelitzia she was 'Struck Down' that doesn't necessarily mean Killed...and you wouldn't think it was her due to the fact people thought she was killed. The spell was never on her and she knew the full prophesy...
Something that looks like the memory pods exists within End of the World's Hollow-Bastion/Laboratory-like area w/ a lengthy elaboration on the workings of the heart, and a Mass of Demonic/ Crimson Demon-like enemies in addition to magical, Angel-type opponents, and tentacular Dark Balls.. perhaps a reference to however a couple, Or maybe not? May have been tragically seperated during KH X/ Kh UnionX' timeline(s). On that note, Dream Eaters, or at least Chirithys were originated through "experiments/rituals" involving flasks, and the Angel heartless as well as some other magical Unversed, Heartless, the vendor heartless, etc..! I Wonder how much of that could be seen as cannon?

For me the identity of Subject X isn't an issue since it can either be Skuld and Ava. The issue is why did Luxu do it. I mean he allow Ventus to go through hell in BBS and have Marluxia, Larxene, Luxord, and Demyx to join the Organization knowing their connection to the Key blade War. So I wonder why luxu did do it though as he allow the tragic fates happen to other members of the Dandelions. Why is Subject X an exception and where in the world is she now.
It is definitely not Ava, she looks like she's in her 20's and Secret Report 3 says "Female, approximately fifteen years old.". Skuld is the one who fits that description. Ventus is supposed to be around the same age (at least he's supposed to be... but then there's the time travel stuff so he's actually quite old if you think about it).

@@eri_noemi1462 Ava looks the same age as Kairi, Kairi is currently 16 besides Nomura confirmed that Subject X is NOT Ava. Skuld is NOT the only one that fits the description - Strelitzia, Struck Down doesn't Mean Dead.
What if she is in Shibuya, or is part of the Verum Rex people in New Insomnia? In the same place as Sora and the Master of Masters?
Yeah I’m guessing the pods is how Ven and company got to the time of BBS (4 years before in Ven’s case)

If there were other pods is it a stretch to say they were Marluxias, Larxenes, Luxords and Demyx's? They were the other wielders from the past and in the KH2 final mix its stated the at least Marluxia was recruited by Xigbar/Luxu so somehow these past wielders were brought to the present and had their memories rewritten by the organisation to fit a new purpose?

Hmm, so Skuld's role is kept in mystery, and since Ven and Ephemer are her friends, Ven could fill her in on everything that happened.
This sounds correct to me; however I've suspected for a while that Xion is subject X, after all Xehanort did mention in the secret reports that he thought the methods used to help him regain his memories might help her as well.
Xion may not have been subject x's nobody, but her body doesn't actually resemble kairi's enough for it to be based on her. If subject x's heart was in sora during kh3, it seems reasonable that whatever research was done on subject x made use of namine's abilities that only work on persons whose hearts are connected to soras. If the replica xion existed within was based on subject x, and the organization was sending sora's memories into said replica. (xion gaining a heart of her while desirable may or may not have been part of the plan, but overall xion was deemed a "failure" and put down by her best friend, so whatever they were going for with xion, they did not truly get)
If I am correct in my logics here, the thing that awakened xion to her memories of roxas and axel is subject x's heart entering the new replica that was filled with the remaining data on xion's memories. Sora gave both roxas and xion their hearts in that moment, made obvious by xion suddenly being able to clearly say no to xemnas and regaining her face.
Further, if I am correct in my assumptions here, the organization started up the replica program in order to save/find subject x after she "disappeared" into darkness, since normal people risk turning into heartless when they go through such portals unprotected. So it is possible xemnas knew her heart was out there awaiting a vessel to return to. Not many bodies survive darkness overtaking the heart, and even fewer hearts hold onto their chains of memory while trapped in the darkness. A replica could fix both of these problems.
If xion's body was based off of a survivor of the first keyblade war, it would make a great deal of sense why xemnas would have a second more perfect replica made by kh3, after all if they had "spares" why wasn't the failure that was xion one of them? Because she wasn't just some weird hybrid of sora's memories of kairi and a fake nobody, she was someone with a wounded heart that the organization wanted restored. Weirdly enough, I don't think we've seen anybody else shelter other hearts with anywhere near as great a result as sora, and that was true before heart stabbed his heart out! They used namine and sora to create a replica that subject x's heart would recognize as its own body while supplying enough memories that subject x could function as a person until her true memories could be restored.
Back to my theory that xion is sculd (scroll down the comments to find it ) xion was brought back by the organization from the past unlike roxas so xion is still inside sora but this xion seemes different yeah she got here memories back and all but if they got xion from the past she apreared in days all breaking down and all how come she isn't breaking now mabey because vexen fixed her but she didn't learn to use the keyblade untill she started taking roxas's powers so how is she useing it now in my thinking the organization got this xion when sculd went missing and xion is sculds nobody there for xion is subject X scroll down the coment section to find my other comment which has more reasing why i think xion is subject X

Well now that Xehanort is dead we don’t have to be too concerned about what he wanted but I’m guess Xehanort just wanted to uncover any possible secret of the keyblade war. Xehanort was all about his curiosity

Subject X just doesn’t make sense. I think Kairi has to be involved in the mystery too. I think skull is one of the few Black Hair Girls in the KH. Yuffie and Tifa. But I doubt they are her because the timing is wrong. So the only choice would be to have someone carries her subject X’s heart. Who else do we know is from Radiant Garden with no memory and appeared out of no where? Kairi.
Kairi has another heart within her own heart. Why else to refuse character development for a main character? Kairi has been in the big titles.
And going back to when Kairi restored Sora he didn’t remember at first.
And with the fact that Aqua had been trapped for 10 years after she meet Kairi and since kairi is 17/18 that means Kairi would be 7/8 which puts her pass the age of Infintal amnesia which is a point where a person forgets everything as a baby. Basically it is a memory reset. Which happen between 18 months to 24 months. Which means Kairi should have remember Aqua. Which means something is blocking the Disaster event. And the only thing powerful enough is a heart. So I think Skull’s heart is inside Kairi’s heart because when the heartless invaded Kairi watched her grandmother becomes a nobody Kairi meet skull as they flee from the castle but skull heart is critically injured and she ask Kairi to heal her heart. She does so but right at the same time as the pendent sends Kairi away. The combination of magic causes Kairi to forget her home and her deal with Subject X.
This explains why Kairi is a major character but is not big because her story hasn’t started. KH 4 will mean Kairi story has finally begun and if you noticed in the KH3 secret ending you will see Kairi has a darker color hair.

Kairi was really young when she left RG. How many memories do you have from when you were 4? Plus Kairis Grandmother was seen in BBS. Kairi was 4 when she met Aqua (Check KHWiki.com). and she didnt appear out of nowhere. Aqua put a spell on Kairi to protect her, This sent her to Destiny Islands when RG turned into Hollow Bastion.
I honestly think that Nomura SHOULDN'T have told us that Subject X wasn't Ava. There's only one other person who matches the kid's description, so telling us that it isn't Ava is as good as confirming that it's Skuld. It takes away from the mystery.
I think there's too much mystery honestly. While we are used to being fed crumbs of information to come to our own conclusions, I would be really happy to have more solid answers in this franchise. It's really boring to hear the average fan say "But that's just what kingdom hearts is" line most of the time. It's because of this overabundance of mystery that i feel like the series has taken this long to go anywhere. It almost makes you feel like nomura spends (or wastes) this much time trying to make this story as confusing as possible. But i know that's not it. I just hate how much of a mess the lore is, and to get it you NEED to play every installment. I've played almost everything except union X, and because of only that I've missed out on some the most important stuff. Nomura is good at what he does, but he needs to stop splitting the overall story so much.

@@LtBasil no i get ya, i like the mystery too since that is what is keeping us coming back for more. It's just the state that kingdom hearts is in now that bugs me. I'm just hoping that in the next saga they don't go overboard like the xehanort saga. One really thick game full of secrets, lore and clues would do us nicely. One that doesn't change the KH formula too much. We can still have everything that KH has already given us, but actually have an equal amount of answers in the same game instead of waiting years for another haha It's these cliffhangers that are killing me bro XD

There are no coincidences. Ansem simply didn’t know about Luxu. Not even Xehanort Knew.
After I heard bout the girl's only memories and cause I played the mobile game it would kinda be pretty obvious sadly not all fans play the mobile game

To find it out you basically have to play Kingdom Hearts Union x. You can find all the cutscenes so far on UA-cam, just search for “Lauriam and strelitzia” and you’ll find the scenes pretty quickly! You’ll see Lauriam/Marluxia desperately search for his sister. As a nobody he some how forgot all his memories but according to Nomura in this interview www.khinsider.com/news/Kingdom-Hearts-3-Ultimania-Scenario-Mysteries-Interview-Translated-14746 he reclaims them upon fading. He also hints we will see more of Lauriam in a future update to KHUx. :)

Based on the evidence, not likely. The only description of subject X that fits Xion is that she apparently looked to be about 15 years old. Xion’s black hair was just a fashion choice since someone in square wanted to make a black hair character. Xion is a replica Sora but Subject X appears to be in the same situation as Marluxia Larxene and Ventus, they were all present in Union X. Xions original name was No.i, I being the imaginary unit in mathematics, it’s not a real number, like how Xion wasn’t truly considered a member. Xion would have no memory of may your heart be your guiding key, Venus heart was in Roxas the whole time until he merged with Sora.
Xion didn't exist yet when Subject X showed up the first time. Also, Xion has black hair because she's based off of Sora's faded memories of Kairi. The image in Sora's head was incomplete due to Namine messing with his memories so Xion wasn't a perfect doppelganger like she should've been.
