I hadn't been listening to The GazettE for years, I've just decided to searched through their old songs today to forget the heat and I learn about Reita's death. I can't say how much it pains me, he was a great artist. I have a thought for his close ones.

I just wrote some of this in a reply to another comment but I will reiterate it here, since there are so many mentions about Aoi’s fantastic hair and the similarities to hide, whom I absolutely adore. Unless I overlooked something, I find it curious that no one made mention of his outfit as well, which in terms of style seems to be very similar to that cowl-neck, green crushed velvet type thing that hide wore CONSTANTLY during the Dahlia era (he also wore it in the Genkai Haretsu PV). I literally just discovered The GazettE (in February 2024) and have become quickly obsessed....I have been a hardcore hide fan since March 2021. Anything and everything I have come across that Aoi or any of the other guys have done as tribute/homage to hide specifically (or X in general) totally warms my heart...to the point of happy tears sometimes. That includes twin guitar bits by Uruha (who I find incredibly attractive!) and Aoi that are very hide and Pata worthy. This is probably why I got so drawn into them. There is so much of their material that I feel has a vibe of hide's "psyborg rock" but taken to the next level...like, it is how hide’s solo music could have and would have sounded had he lived. This is only my own personal opinion, of course. In any case, I LOVE IT and I hope hide is in rock and roll heaven smiling down on these guys…and I hope Taiji and Heath are smiling, too. May they all rest in peace. ❤🤘
