I love how the dev made sure that the players had questions answered and made the least known and involved character a big piece in the game. A real challenge for those who seek lore and dig deep into secrets.

I love the way the song speeds up a little bit when you land a hit on Filename2, making the song sound just a bit more desperate as you run faster and faster, the key change at the end really helps convey that feeling.
I also love how when Filename2 is on his last hit, the melody stops, keeping the last note played held while the percussion keeps going, making it feel like this is truly the end of the game

Is this not the full game already? I have been out of the loop in baldi's basics so I don't know what the state of the game currently is.
There seems to be a lot of new things to see and I am really curious to do so tbh, this boss fight thing is making me really interested.

but there's a Baldi's Basics Plus in development that aims to be a much bigger game with a lot more stuff, and an actual story.

How it started: A short yet challenging game where you've got to get noteboos for your friend and escape your evil teacher, and maybe learn that the game has some sort of darker control
How it's going:
Good, and how are you?
Imagine the protagonist coming back home after everything that has occured to them and their parents go: "hey sweetie, did you recover your friend's notebooks?" and then,
"Yeah, i did some math questions that the math teacher made me do, then i got an impossible question wrong and then the teacher tried to kill me, the principal would do nothing about it, and then when i finally got out i went back in time and i had to go after the notebooks again, and different stuff happened over and over again, then i met this weird person that had no skin nor face who had a red shirt and i eventually learnt that our entire existence is nothing more than a game and after messing around some more this guy started chasing me down while reality was literally glitching in beat with some coolass song, then i teleported right on the apartment of our literal god and it seems that he wanted me to read something, then i saw the weird guy that i mentioned earlier and literally died in front of me, then i went back in time to repeat this process all over again. but yeah, just another normal day i guess."

This music reminds me a lot of the kind of osngs Toby Fox makes. Which I cannot stress enough I was not expecting to hear in a Baldi's Basics game. But I love it. i hope the series keeps going down this strange but neat new path it's going down right now.

Idk if this is just me but one of my favorite parts about this song and bossfight is how after Null says “you’re REALLY gonna regret that one” and shakes the whole school the music builds up the second it happens which makes it even better

Weirdly enough it sounds like the song gets sped up to around 1.25 speed around the end of the fight (before the hold note), I find that's the playback speed that matches my favorite iteration of the song.

The theme is really fitting for a boss like null because of how inconsistent it is in-game , I would prefer a name like "Filename.waw" or something tho , "schoolhouse trouble" does not fit an entity like null imo

its crazy to think that null really is powerful enough to destabilize the whole school in just one scream, but then dies to some random person throwing a wooden chair that's also glitching out, the music definitely ties it all together, and when youhit him, the song holds the noe you hit him on for about 3 seconds, and then get faster and the tone gets more desparate as he begins to move faster than you. it's crazy to think that baldi's basics has this kind of content.
