I too have a 12 car Daylight, with the same sound file. I installed my own led light boards with ‘no-flicker’ capacitor circuitry in every coach, and 70-some happy passengers. It is perhaps my favourite passenger consist on my layout (well, next to my Rapido ‘The Canadian’ with an A-B-A head end … THAT is a spectacular lash-up as well). The admirable thing about Kato products is their robustness and performance. Those are some pretty tight curves in your video, and an extreme transition at the top of your incline, but the Kato equipment negotiates it with aplomb. Quite a testament to how nicely they run.
I have the Kato N scale Southern Pacific 10 car Morning Daylight set & the Southern Pacific GS4 locomotive number 4449 which is my excursion train on my model railroad. I will be running it once I have the tracks set up on my permanent layout. I’m in the building stages & track set up at the present. I should be having my trains running by the beginning of July at the earliest.
