@@princesilver1387 This list needs 2 Skull Invitations from the event, so it needs to be adjusted for ranked. It can easily go 2nd in the event, but it'll be hard in ranked with how many omni negates and board wipes nowadays. That said, it's also very match up dependent, it'll auto lose against hard going 2nd decks because they play tons of back row removals, but easily destroy going 1st decks that's forced to go 2nd. :D
My favorite burn setup would be something like toll hike (discard from hand to attack) gravekeepers servant (discard from topdeck to attack) Skull invitation (300 per card sent to the grave) dark room of nightmares (300 for every card effect damage) and either toll or chain energy (-500 for each attack or -500 for every card you put on the field.) this setup burns 2 cards for every attack which is for sure 600 damage with skull. then 300 from room and either 500 from putting card on the field or 500 to attack per atk. either way looking at around 1400 per attack in the battle phase if using toll, or varied on how many cards they place with chain energy. Not to mention toll hike can be VERY useful for stalling heavy hitter decks. if they need to discard to atk most people don't have 5 cards in their hand at all times.
I played morphing jar#2. I once played vs stun in this event, they confidently put 5 of their floodgate monsters and attacked jar #2. I ended up milling 10 cards that way, x3 skull invitations damage.
@@GoriCHAD Yeah i had to fight a blackwing or two, the thing is i made my deck a hybrid between burning and healing XD and most of my monsters were ones that either gain atk per turn, or i had a handful of equip spells to give m atk over time so I didn't get stuck with weak monsters that just heal me. Power of the Guardian has come in clutch for me dozens of times now. the increasing atk and negate destruction has SO many uses.
@@GoriCHAD Got 2 cards for you :D "Dark Magician the Dragon Knight" and "Dragon Shield" the dragon knight blocks the backrow and the dragon shield makes DMtDK invincible from all destruction. but it can still be banished/returned to hand etc. so not COMPLETE defense.

Funny thing, the players who love putting tons of synchro link or xys out. who waste ten minutes on a turn. the burn deck is DEVASTATING to. I love using a burn deck on them, I feel either hurry up with your turn, and let me play. Also there NEEDS to be rules on the number of special, synchro, xys, and link summons in a single turn. being able to literally summon your entire deck on turn one is stupid. honestly I think it would STILL be to much if you could do like 3 special, and 2 each for synchro xys and link per TURN. But it would atleast mean other player could get some turns to play.
Also there should be some kinda limit that unless you get a card that literally says so, you should not be able to chain a one turn effect over and over. (not sure if it actually does give multiple uses but it seems like every time i turn around someone would use a once per turn, then graveyard the card then revive it and be aloud to USE IT AGAIN.
Haha yeah, summoning our entire deck, drawing our entire deck, and sending our entire deck to GY is easy nowadays. That said, it's also the reason I rarely play seriously nowadays, because I prefer going 2nd decks but hate waiting for my opponents' turn. I only play once every two days with my FTK decks to farm the daily gems if there's no special format like this one. :D

Yeah everyone uses the same deck types :C its like, see horus? surrender, see kashtira? surrender, see dark magician? surrender. Though I have found a card called prohibition, which if I can figure out the deck I am against and draw it before they get momentum, I can cut them off at the legs. a good example is someone used that spellcard with the magical circle which gives the effect that whenever dark magician is summoned he banishes a card, so I used prohibition and chose Dark Magician. Cut his entire deck out from under him. no DM means no banishing, means eternal soul is all but useless. no fusions made from DM.
Prohibition seems good in theory, but it's just a 1 for 1 trade that can be easily negated, meanwhile, actual good decks can turn 1 card into 5 interactions. We need actual good cards that can stop everything, but the closest thing we can do is an OTK strategy while opening Droplet + Board Wipe(s), but it requires luck since we can only play 3 Droplets, so we'll still lose most of the time because we need to draw a 3 out of 40 card, while they only need to draw 1 of their starter, which are most likely 16 out of 40 cards. XD
@@GoriCHAD Its really crazy the amount of special summons, xys, synchro, links, pendalum, fusion etc. and they can ALL be used endlessly :C seriously it should be like MAYBE two of each PER turn. that alone would slow the games down by alot. instead of a one turn kill. also draw card type cards should be limited to one use of EACH in a turn. so you cannot literally pull your entire deck in one turn and pull exodia for example. even a 1 of each per turn still means its possibly a 3 turn exodia. but atleast the other play can RESPOND. instead of just watching.

Burn should legit be banned in those events because it's always a playable option that is boring on its own. In this case, if you burn by building around the Skull Invitation, it's pretty cool. If you just use genric burn cards it's boring.
Burn is a good punishment deck though for those players who love to sit for 10 minutes throwing out synchro after synchro after link, xys, fusion or special etc, etc.
yet I just put out Black Winged Dragon, and laugh at all the black feather counters I get while going full combo. With my blackwing deck, I go down to 4k HP with full combo in this mode while going first, if my Vata isn't ashed. Black Winged Dragon literally saves me from over 4000 damage I'd take during my combo from those 2 trap cards. Andby the end of the combo, I'll also have 3 tax dragons on my side. Imagine dealing an additional 2100 burn damage for monster effect activatins on your opponent's side. Oh, also an omi negate, a pop 2 munsters below 2800 def, and potentially an extra monster effect negate if you had ANY cards for the combo in hand in addition to the starter befoer starting it.
Yeah, OG Black Wing is very useful. But it'll be too late if you're forced to go 2nd, so Leonidas or the other activate from hand cards are much better. :D
@@GoriCHAD To be fair, I only went on until the 3 wins. I had 4 enjoyable duels, including 1 where I was kind of matched with an opponent, who was able to set up a board, because I didn't have combo in my startng hand, and it was a pretty narrow match. Not even 2 full armor masters managed to score me a win. In fact, the very reason why I lost that match, was that I turned them to attack position, to inflict more damage on my opponent. It left me open for an attack from a Numeron Dragon the next turn. With 2 skull invitations in play, and how synchros don't keep their materials under themselves like XYZ, as you can imagine, I didn't have theover 6k spare life points to survive that :/ but it was close, my opponent had less than 300 life points remaining in the end as well. If there was even just 1 more card going in his/her graveyard during the match, I'd have won. In the rest, my opponent either tried to break my board, or just gave up after they saw how BWD kind of invalidated the 2 skull invitations, and saved me from taking over 4000 extra damage in 1 turn. Really, this event with burn cards is really damn strong. and Black Winged Assault Dragon just so happens to be my personal favourite burn card. Especially when I can brng out 3 copies of it in 1 turn.
@@Wortigon2000 Well, Assault Dragon only works on monster effects, so it works better in ranked. Blackwing is good in this format thanks to the OG burn negating effect, but it's too late when forced to go 2nd against burn decks that can easily FTK. Still, better than most combo decks. :D

For summons. should be like 2 of each type of summon a turn. and for exodia decks. you should be aloud to only use ONE of each draw card in a turn. that would STILL mean its possible to get exodia in three turns. but atleast gives the other player a chance to respond.
@@JukainPwnsSurvives Any draw cards will work. :D There's no cheap alternative that does the same thing, Wannabee! is the closest, but not as reliable. It basically searches any Normal Trap that's at 3 without any additional step like Labrynth.
This event was unique. My Trickstar won me a good amount of win.some people forgot what Trickstar do when they use maxx c.

My strat with this event was just to use dragon link stuff to turbo out Prime Material Dragon. Have fun with your burn deck and 0 removal
