This is great Ralf. Proud to say I have most all of these in my movie collection. So many of the gorgeous and lush orchestrations of the MGM numbers were conducted by Conrad Salinger, who was perhaps the best in composing the unique scoring of instrumental harmonics. Many are so beautifully arranged, I get verklempt when hearing them. BTW, if you are of the opinion that Vic Damone was one of the greatest movie baritones of that Hollywood era - you are in good company. His pitch and vibrato was perfection. Even Frank Sinatra once said "Vic has the best pipes in the business".
