I think the opposite can also be true in life, depending on how your perspective develops. You may come to experience a lot the hardships and unfairness of this world, but instead of letting that temper or curb your optimism, you choose to let what you've seen fuel your desire to see the beauty or best in any moment you can.

This may sound weird. But I literally felt like I was going through the same phases Musashi went through as I read along, I actually grew with him, he started as a man who wanted to be something, allowed his ego to consume him at times, triumphed at a price, and learned hes both nothing and everything, not pursuing a title, but also not giving up. At least that's how I saw it. Keep going kings🙏
I identify more with his environment, necessarily between adolescence and young adulthood, he is in the transition from Shounen to Seinen, not inconsequential but turning a more mature person.
I've only read the first volume but wow. This artist is ridiculously talented. To be able to capture your vision and subtly convey a character's age by each passing month/year must take so much thought and care. From young hopeful boy to a realistic hardened warrior. Just wow.
Exactly, Musashi doesnt need to have 20 types of personalities or body types, its one continuous road of perfection. Oh, and he doesnt need to prostitute himself to some agenda.
I had read the chapter 1 of Vagabond and I found it interesting but I never continued, and this video was what motivated me to read it, I already finished reading it and it was definitely the best manga I've ever read in my life, simply a work of art

@@shriefallam8866 the impact a single tile without dialogue has in vagabond would make it hard. Yes it‘s easy to animate but vagabond isn‘t something you rush through. It‘s something you stop in the middle of the chapter, think about and try to understand. Not just the story but the subtle way that characters show emotions in a single tile. That‘s what I think makes it unfit for an anime. Could be wrong though. Let‘s see how Vinland saga season 2 turns out and then we might be able to judge a bit better.
