This bootleg has grown on me after listening a couple of times. What I especially like about is how it has completely transformed the original (to me) slightly boring/plain sounding song to a version with a deep emotional relaxed atmosphere in a typical Omyqron fashion. The vocals doesn't seem to bother me at all here either, it just fits the track so nicely. :)
This is what I call a perfect track in my opinion, Beautiful melody and a very crunchy sounding kick. Definitely going to keep this one on loop for a while

I honestly think you're pulling this theory out of thin air. Green Day has metal influences, but that's pretty much it. Nothing else in all of Green Day's 25 year career has had anything to do with the genre metal. American Idiot was labeled as alternative. Which had already been the most popular genre of rock since Nirvana first went big back in 1991. So if you really want to blame someone for "mainstreaming metal" is what I think you're trying to say, then blame Nirvana I guess.
