iI your not confused by that, try naming the 3 attributes differently according to 3 similar conventions:
HSL - Hue, Saturation, Luminance
Hue = colour Hue
Sat = colour-SATURATION/colour Intensity/Chroma/Chrominance/
Lum = LUMINANCE/Luma/brightness/lightness Value
HVC - Hue, Value, Chroma
H = colour HUE
V = lightness VALUE/Luminance
/Luma/brightness
C = CHROMA/Chrominance/Saturation (colour-Saturation)/colour intensity
HVI - Hue, Value, Intensity
H = colour HUE
V = lightness VALUE/Luminance/Luma/brightness
I = Colour INTENSITY/chroma/chrominance/saturation (colour-saturation)
not sure why 3 sets of names emerged, different names in
different countries? US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand
