J. Cross started Crosscents as a diversion from her stressful writing. She actually has a sensitive sense of smell and can smell every layer of a specific scent.
She formulated her first-ever two scents, Angelic and Seductress. Then, Che (Jonquil), her co-writer, suggested her to formulate a scent too for her most-read story on Dreame, Sin With Me. And since Jonquil has so many supporters, J. Cross took advantage of that opportunity to send samples of different scents to market the whole Crosscents collection.
She also loves the smell of books and it gave her an idea to formulate different scents. For her, every scent defines every story.
