Reading the comments on here make me sad... ‘wish the mc would shut up’ & ‘Hazard tracks are for chavs’ etc... I started raving in 92 and knocked it on the head in 2013 but still stay on top of the scene and it’s music. I can safely say MC’s at raves hyping the crowd makes all the difference... especially compared to just listening to sets back at home where it’s out of context. Jump up classics like ‘Bricks’ & Mr Happy’ are straight up liveners... I’m not a massive jump up fan but I’ve witnessed many a club switch when tracks like that are dropped. Finally... wtf is up with ravers nowadays... just bubbling round on their phones and throwing up the odd hand.... where the fuck is all the shockout business and one leg skanking?!?!?
