AMAZING Christopher Lee Voice Impression • Count Dooku dub • Part 1

- Sir Christopher Lee returns as Count Dooku in my latest voice dub of STAR WARS: Tales of the Jedi! My mission was to honor the character and craft a performance with the authenticity I grew up watching from Lee. As an impressionist I had to not only evoke him but operate within the timing in the show. Twice the challenge, double the reward! I trust you’ll enjoy what I brought to the table and leave with an enjoyable experience!
My beloved brother Chazz Ravenelle! He saved this entire project from the pits of Pandora’s Box. A literal series of unfortunate events plagued an otherwise historic impression video and he was there to stare down the Rancor every step of the way. From meticulously keying in my performance to editing it all together, he elevated every aspect of this video to a quality unheard of for dubs. Thank you for making this into a reality and for being such a positive FORCE in my life. Even when it seemed like hope was gone. As the Jedi say, may the force be with you my brother, always!

You are remarkable. You have the depth of voice but also the slight echo within the mouth that Lee had. That’s a remarkable thing and I’m grateful that you share this with the world
Thank you so much for your kind words! When I set out to do a voice I think of people like you who’ll appreciate the intricate work behind it! Makes the process worthwhile :)
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActor you have VERY big boots to fill. I wish you luck
@@pacificcoastpiper3949 With all the care and respect I can muster! Thank you!
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActor do our master proud
Phenomenal!
It does sound like an older dooku though.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
I’d completely agree with you had I dubbed the beardless Dooku in the earlier episode! That would’ve been around Lee’s “Horror” years and he did sound much younger compared to his 2000’s era films. This takes place only 10 years before Ep2 and not much changed in his voice, at least from interviews and films I cross referenced but he definitely is in his senior years here!
Impressive...Most impressive 😍
Thank you SWS! Haha
This is by far one of the greatest impressions I've ever heard. You sir are extremely gifted in this wholeheartedly.
This is off topic , but if you could ever do a short using your Christopher Lee impression and just say "LOLLIPOPS... what they call cavities on a stick", I will make absolute sure you win the internet good sir.
You sir have made my day!! I’m really happy I got that reaction off of you, extremely rewarding!
Haha this is just the beginning of my Lee madness so you can COUNT on it! I must’ve said LOLLIPOPS so many times during Halloween it was so fun..CARAMELLSSSS! XD Keep your eyes peeled for Part 2 today! This one will have Qui-Gon (Liam Nesson)!
It always feels like Christmas whenever he posts a new video.
Well I am Saint Nick 😂! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Thanks for watching!
Well done. A fine job at capturing his voice.
Thank you so much! :)
If only christopher lee lived long enough to play as Dooku in tales of the Jedi
I know :/ I would have preferred to have seen him representing his character more in the other series and games too.
0:35 They never even used Lee’s when he was alive except in TCW movie and originally he wasn’t supposed to be in that one. Originally for the Clone Wars movie Burton recorded the dialogue but since the film was theatrical they were contracted to contact the original actors to if they wanted reprise their roles for any theatrical Star Wars film and they asked Lee if he wanted to do it and he obliged.
You did an amazing impression of Dooku if I had to rate it I would give you a 30/10
YAAAY!!! Seriously though thank you!
If the Silmarillion (and Unfinished Tales) was done in animation, you would be perfect as Saruman.
That would be a dream come true! I remember reading the character bios in the back pages of the Silmarillion as a kid. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActor No problem.
a remarkable performance. with that voice, you can also do ansem the wise.
Thank you so much! I had no idea Lee was in kingdom hearts! Thanks for sharing that!
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActorcount dooku wasn't the only role Lee portrayed as. So I thought it would be nice to let you know. But in other words, your welcome.
Spot on as always 👏👏👏
Thank you my friend! :D
Wait God damn I thought this was Christopher Lee talking that's fantastic
HAHA Thank you so much!
I have been looking forward to this. >:)
HAHA I SEE WHAT U DID THERE 😂 Thanks for watchin friend!
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActor no prob, Nick!
A new power is rising its victory is at hand.
Would you be interested in making an impression of Kevin Conroy as Batman to honour him now that it's been announced that he will be in The Suicide Squad game?
I appreciate the great suggestion there! I’ve always wanted to but he’s someone I couldn’t dub over. He’s perfect. HOWEVER I could do something original, like a narration or motion comic related. He is undoubtedly the voice I hear when I read anything Batman so there is a chance! Thanks again for stopping by!
INSANE MY FRIEND! Felt like I was just watching an episode!
Haha Thanks so much bro!! I keep getting more and more British don’t I xD !? Chazz’s masterful sound design had his name written all over this as well!
Oh my God that was phenomenal! It's like you brought Sir Christopher Lee back to life!!!!! You are extremely talented!
Thank you for sharing those positive vibes I appreciate your kind words!
Hopefully you are back from the depths of Voice Acting shadows for longer this time. When hearing of Kevin Conroy’s recent passing, one of my first thoughts was of your “Death of Batman” fan dub. Veteran’s Day will now be a day where, alongside celebrating the birthday of a friend, this clown will cry in remembrance of a fallen hero.
Nice to see you again my friend! I’ve learned my lesson about promises but I will say I have been ramping things up for sure! Yeah that really hit hard, for all of us Gothamites. Thats very nice to hear you thought of me, indeed we shall carry on his memory!
Great impression
Thank you Zach! Pleasure to have entertained ya!
@@NicholasCortezVoiceActor I wouldn’t be surprised if you were hired as a voice actor
Masta Windu, you have fought gallantly
Outstanding voicework, but sounds too much like the older Dooku.
Thank you!
I would love to see you voice act as Ansem the Wise in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts 3. He was voiced by Christopher Lee in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2.
Unrelated to Star Wars but you should fandub some of the DiZ cutscenes.
He sounds a little too old formwhat he looks like, but the impression of the actor himself is great
