      BELIEVE ME...DONT BOTHER ARLENE!!
i have tried every way of explaining to these hypocrites that these three were convicted on nothing more than just the confession of an unsupervised 17year old with a 72 IQ who had no legal counsel at the time, and who was reputedly interviewed for as long as 12 hours...a confession WHICH WAS THEN RECANTED!!
they will throw things like "EXHIBIT 500" (which you can read in full online) at you...: this is merely a basket load of documents consisting of records of echols' extremely minor juvenile police record (he was convicted of "sexual misconduct" for having sex with his 14 year old girlfriend when he was 15 years old, in an abandoned house...WOW!! BIG FUCKIN CRIMINAL HUH..?!!) His multiple mental health authorities records, NON OF WHICH give an official diagnosis / psychological profile that would fit anything other that a depression anxiety WHICH HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE SUFFER FROM AND DONT THEN COMMIT TRIPLE HOMICIDE LESS THAN A YEAR LATER!! (in fact, being qualified in psychiatry and reading echols' rorchach and miriad of other mental health tests and what drugs he was prescribed...it reads like any other MINOR DEPRESSIVE, withdrawl exhibited based anxiety disorder... (similar to many minor admissions over the world)
they might throw the "bloody necklace" which the prosecution never submitted (extremely late) into the trial "because the evidence already submitted was so strong!!" ...they have nothing to say when you tell them it was only 11 percent accurate (not even chinese rolex standard) and was obtained without the defense teams knowledge (which is against disclosure law) using a testing procedure / method which destroyed the physical evidence once performed!! (they also have nothing to say about the fact he dumbass police lost about a metric ton of blood evidence from the bojangles restaurant bathroom...and they had to admit this at the trial...!
they are the kind of people that allowed conquistadores and witch finders to convince whole communities to burn their fellow human beings, torture them, drown them, hang draw and quater them etc...THEY ARE FUCKING DUMB!!! and they are also the worst kind of dumbasses...they are the kind that think they are smart...so smart they dont need things like physical evidence or corroborated witness testimony or even motive or or a second opinion to sentence two teenagers to life without parole and one teenager to death by lethal injection!!

I think the part that concerns me after looking into this case and watching many videos is all three just talk about themselves yes they may have been falsely accused and lost 20 years of their lives but you never hear them talk about the three boys saying I hope they find justice for those innocent kids that were murdered. You never hear them show any emotion of the three victims and that really concerns me . I have to say I get an uneasy feeling of all three something is off there .

I was reading that in the Alford plea deal, the only way they would ever get out of prison and see the light of day was through their Alford plea and some agreements in that plea and that was one of t hem that they had to take, they had to agree not to seek financial compensation for their time locked up. That made me so mad! The whole thing makes me so mad. I hope Damien, Jessie and Jason all get money and lots of it. Damien had it the hardest being on death row but he will get no compensation for it. Why on Earth would they think he is guilty? But then, you didn't hear about that in Paradise Lost did you? I don't get it !!!! How the hell can you make a film out of such a disgusting crime ???? Does no one actually think about the poor wee little boys who so brutally lost their lives ?????
I totally believe that these 3 blokes didn't kill the boys and am wondering whilst all these films and documentaries are being made, is anyone actually looking for the real killer(s) ?
Being in the UK, I only came across this case through looking for something to watch on Sky one night.
I cannot even begin to comprehend the disgraceful job that the cops did !
There was evidence omitted from court that played a major role in the murders and the 3 young men who were accused were made scape goats !
Personally, I am convinced that it was someone from the truck stop passing through. There was also a bloke covered in mud and blood who was noted in the diner place.
The documentary 'lost in paradise' was unbelievably graphic and bias and I don't understand why they had to show the boys after they were murdered and Hogg tied ! It was disrespectful to the families of the victims but more importantly, to the boys themselves !!!
I've had nightmares since watching it, it broke my heart into a thousand pieces knowing that some psychopath did that vile stuff to those innocent little boys.
I hope more than anything that the psycho(s) who did this are found and brought to justice.

Prison guards are beating prisoners in this day and age? I cannot even believe there are no checks and balances among their peers for that. I wonder if they would all participate in a gang rape too. I mean that didn’t bother any of them?
That is a crime (assault). How antiquated and backwards.
I worked with locked up adolescents, and just loved on them come what may. Because of that - they healed, and are still doing good to this day. They stay in touch. Being a compassionate human being is pretty powerful stuff. I’ve never felt so passionate about life than when I could lift one of these kids up.
Sadly there are a lot of sadistic human beings in this world - who will find a justification for doing wrong. I only wish they would see that full control and power comes from going in the opposite direction of that rage. But that takes strength too, so clearly there are still a lot of weak minded people out there. I’m sorry that happens to someone who is locked up.

Can an oddball slip through, perhaps; but 11 others would call them out on it. I don't like all the evidence in this case and really, it could have been stronger. Anyone who says they didn't a fair trail, just doesn't know how these things work. Echols could and would have gotten another trail; he chose the Aford Plea.

at 3:05 you can plainly see the otherwise calm and collected Damien start to get visibly nervous. Look at the worried expression and erratic blinking at 3:20. He knows of what a guilty freak show he looked like in the original documentary and is going to try and justify his strange, detached, prideful behavior in the film. I guess it's why he wears sunglasses all the time. Maybe his blinking is a tell. "You're in a hostage situation, you're trying to cooperate so they won't kill you". Bullshit. In the film he revealed that he didn't think they'd be able to kill him. He thought he was all powerful the smug little shit. Once again he's portraying the judicial system as full of big scary bad men to renounce the simple fact that he never tried to convince anyone he was innocent in the film. Hell he even joked about the situation. Doesn't seem very scared to me

Jonesboro and West Memphis are nothing alike. West Memphis is best known for its truck stops. Interstates 55 and 40 come together forming one of busiest highways in the country. Most West Memphians work in Memphis, TN just across the river. Jonesboro, AR off the beaten path, has wealth and business. People from that area wouldn't be caught dead in places like West Memphis, much less Memphis itself. Jonesboro has one of the lowest crimes rates in the country size/capita.

I always thought in the beginning for certain he acted from guilt due to involvement and confessed... Jason Always struck me as innocent and Damian a Plausible scapegoat didn't help himself by how he acted in trial ... and I first initially theorized that Jesse'sinvolvement was definite and he tried to put the blame on D, and J when it was more than likely 2 others all together. Chis Morgan? And another? The parents should have NEVER been overlooked... and The Bojangles guy wow West Memphis PD yall really blew that one . So many twists and holes in this thing it's sad for the little boys who never got to go home that day they deserve peace mercy and justice... and in my Right mind I never wanted to believe the WM3 were capableof doing that so I have always stayed open minded and just tried to read up on facts... but that case was largely mishandled these 3 got zoomed in on with a microscope when in reality there were so many other suspects with similar circumstantial eye brows raisers. I'm glad they got set free because they deserve and the families of the victims deserve a REAL investigation. And the 3 boys deserve justice . The REAL killers will answer to real justice for what they did inevitably. Karmaticly D,J,J deserve the positive media attention and notoriety theyve recieved for the injustices and the witchhunt and negative press they endured as kids... but Ultimately the real Innocent victims are the 3 little boys who Deserve the Most coverage and support and a thorough investigation
