There was a interview and when i came back to this video i realized he actually wanted to buy the company, because trust me it would make him a fortune.

I sold that wine in stadium concession stands a few years ago. I'm sure that wasn't his original intended purpose, but it definitely makes a ton of money. By not taking the sharks advice (to sell the patented bottle to better wine manufacturers), he's established his company as the only bottled wine available.
Toomany Francis i’m gonna have to disagree here. They didn’t tell him to sell the patent but rather split his business to work with better wine producers. Imo this is a great idea because people who enjoy expensive wine’s don’t wanna always drink an entire bottle and rather just drink 1 glass of their favorite wine. So if he would of worked with other wine brands this would have been even more profitable. But he is doing great so he must be doing something right

When you've got the great product already, then marketing is key. You need to make people know about it in the first place, and appearing on the show is a wonderful marketing strategy in itself. ;)
If the first guy went on to turn over $1.4 million a year with his business why on earth did he sell 25% for a measly $150,000? That seems insane to me.
1.4 million in sales, but the goods and services could cost 1.3 million to provide/ produce and the business could only be making $100,000 bottom line after everything is paid.
If you're selling that much and not even making 10% markup and then giving away 25% of it, that's even more insane. And to give away 25% of a company for only 1 and a half years profit, hen you're turning over that much you could easily get $150,000 on a loan and then the payback would only be temporary. It's just a very odd business move, the only way I can swing it is if he thought the second outing would have the same boost in business as the first time and he'd pre-agreed to a deal before hand to get a second appearance.
Normally that "i told you so" attitude is annoying, not winning gracefully, but in this case I'd let it slide because it was done so in an interesting "relevant" way.

In fairness, many of these pitches were not rejected per se, at least not by the sharks. Most were quality products that the panel generally liked and made offers. The disagreements had more to do with valuations, which both sides will tell you are crapshoots. I'd love to see a similar list of pitches that the sharks (or dragons) all but laughed off the stage, but worked out for the owners -- i.e. the William Hung of Shark Tank.
