Yes, the Samoyed I had as a kid would sleep outside at night in the snow. If it snowed hard at night we would not be able to see him in the morning because he was completely buried under the snow. In the winter he always begged and scratched on the door to go outside and sleep. In the summer he came inside and slept under the water tank for our well. The coldest place in our house! Yes, my Samoyed would be completely happy sleeping in your ice bath as long as it did not melt.
First time for me to know about Samoyed. It is never afraid of freezing cold

Mine would sleep in the shower. Again, coldest room in the house. But also near people (the base be might have been colder some days). You could usually get her to come in on cold days, because we weren't going out and she needed to be with her pack.
Whenever my neighbors yell at me for leaving my malamute husky outside in the snow I always send them the pic of my dog laying on the ONE patch of snow left on the grass to make them shut up. My dog is a snow dog, she actually LIKES the cold the wierdo

He’s not a weirdo, it’s in his dna. Because they’re built for cold climates they store a lot of body heat without a good way of releasing it. Imagine always having 2 winter coats on all year round.

I live in Canada, and we had a Samoyed Husky when I was a kid. We couldn't keep her inside , especially in the winter. Our back yard was fenced in. I would literally have to go out and bring her in by the collar at night, or she'd just stay out there all night - lol.
