This is Alani, a mini doodle puppy. This was her very first haircut! I've seen her several times since this video.

Can you share the brand of clippers you used and a link to where they can be purchased?
Does anybody else really not like the top of the head making their Goldendoodle look like a bichon frisée? Lol. I really can’t stand that.
Agreed! I hate that look.
Tell the groomer to keep his face same length as his body and to not add a top knot, should solve the issue! If it doesnt ask them to go shorter but 1/4-1/2 inch

You seem very heavy handed. Especially with a puppy. Nice looking cut though.
My doodle was pretty good for his first trim today. They don't want to stand still but i had him up on the table so he wasn't moving as much. I set in the floor to do his paws and he tried to get away.
This is really super cute hair cut I came across. I also have a golden doodle puppy who looks same as Alani. I am looking for similar hair cut for him. It will be great you can share the name of hair cut or hair style I can ask groomer to do for my puppy?
There's really no specific name for it. I think I was doing an inch attachment comb in this video. Now a days she gets 3/4 an inch or 5/8 an inch all over.

I know you get this question a lot how often should a F1 mini doodle get haircut I just want trim same time some hair left an some gone
I recommend every 6 to 8 weeks!
I can’t imagine my doodle being this well behaved. He’s getting his first haircut next week :)
I have kept my Doodle's hair at bay with a pair of chunkers, thins it out and it stays even, but during the hot spell I had to help her out a little...I'll book her in properly soon. you can always lay scissors next to her and even a buzzy razor to get him used to the sounds.
What model KM is your clipper that you used. And will the Andes blades fit the KM’s? I have a KM 10 corded.

I’m grooming a golden doodle at home alone instead of at work, I wanna go shorter for summer but he’s really shaggy, not so much fluffy I’m worried it might looks weird what do u recommend I use for the blade size

Do you bath him before or after?
Usually with attachment combs since you're not taking much off you bathe before. With straight blades usually do a precut to save on drying time or if its matted you shave the mats out to get a good clean in. Some groomers prefer to do straight blades after bath cause they don't want to ruin their tools
