Climbing Mount Hood Solo | May 2022

Come along as I climb the tallest mountain in Oregon! Just outside of Portland Oregon, Mount Hood is the tallest Mountain in the state at 11'249 ft of elevation. I climbed the South side route through the Pearly Gates which has an elevation gain of around 5'200 ft. This was my first time summiting mount Hood and I would highly reccommend this mountain to anyone who enjoys these kinds of outdoor adventures and has the necessary skills/gear. I am planning on attempting summits of several more of the Cascade volcanos this summer so subscribe to my channel if you would like to see footage of those attempts!

Great video. I am editing my own right now and getting some inspiration here. I had some trouble keeping my gopro battery from freezing. You must be experienced cause very calm about it all. I am kind of going for a scare people enough so they take it serious vibe. Wow I have only been weekdays and never seen such crowds.
