God I love the sounds of their cries-crying=breathing. In ER we say-let them cry! Then we know they are ok. Such a scary moment for you guys!
Kristal Lane yes! I knew from baby led weaning that red and noise is a good thing!
Coughing like you hear right in the beginning could of been like us when we swallow something half way or are throwing up and you end up sucking some of your puke down the wrong way cause you were throughing up very hard and end up taking a breath cause your throwing up so long and hard your body makes you take that breath.
ALSO KIDS THAT ARE UNDER 5YRS,there bodies have never thrown up before cause their gag reflex is still learning how to guard there lungs.YES A CRYING CHILD IS MUSIC TO MY EARS IT MEANS THEY CAN BREATH

Having a baby with sever reflux I have had so many of these scares but, the first time was the scariest. Glad little man is alright.

My daughter has a feeding tube and throws up maybe a handful of times a month for various reasons. She also has some swallowing issues (when she tries to swallow liquids that aren’t thickened, they get in her airway and she is at risk of aspiration). So we have had similar situations several times, and no matter how many times you experience it, it is always scary. She has vomited on her back before, and I have to quickly flip her over so she won’t breathe it in and get it into her lungs. Good job handling what happened to Cooper. So glad he’s ok!

My son chocked on a dime last year and that was the scariest minute of my life trying to get it out of his throat. So glad Cooper and y’all are ok.

Ugh, so scary when things like that happen. Glad Coop was okay! Jack started silently chocking in the living room the other day on bacon while I was in the kitchen. Thank god my mom was sitting beside him and she stuck her fingers down his throat and pulled it out. I can’t even think about what would have happened if she wasn’t here. My poor mama heart instantly sank when I heard Cooper!

That is *the* cutest place! How fun for Cooper. Sorry he threw up/choked, I know that part wasn’t any fun. He seems to have shaken it off whatever it was, thank God. Willa looked so dang cute!!! I’ve never been a fan of that buffalo plaid, but she just mayyyy have made me a fan of it now!
I think your idea is awesome to make dresses out of their daddies shirts! Start with one of Dans shirts for Willa, and go from there:). You’re so creative! I wish you were my kid! Lol. I don’t have a creative bone in my body.

We have that same carseat for our son, and it isn't difficult to take apart/wash. But unfortunately it is so so annoying to try to put back together after. 😞

I’m glad your son is ok... I could understand that fear in that moment . When my daughter was a week old I fed her and moments later she stoped breathing her face turned purple ... she suffered from severe acid reflex .

This happens to my 2 year old almost every time he eats cheese and then goes for a car ride. He has never thrown up any other foods, just cheese. I know exactly what you mean when you said it looks like mozzarella. So glad Cooper is okay. I've been there a few times and it is so scary.

Ugh so scary. My son twice has started choking and vomiting out of nowhere.... turned out he had a severe peanut allergy 😳 he has an epi pen now but has only ever vomited when he gets something with peanuts/ peanut butter.
Sometimes though, it's totally random and isolated and they're over it in 2 seconds lol... kids 🙄😉😋 glad everybody is okay!

Willa's doing so well with food! As far as I know with my research with BLW (I have 1 year old BLW twin boys), that Clementine is a very safe way to feed her! She's a rock star!

Omg that's so scary! Poor guy.I have the same carseat it's so easy to take the fabric off and throw it in the washer.I do it every 3 months just dont dry it so it fits back like normal.
Omg this happened to my 3-year-old in the car as well. Not sure if he got car sick or what but he started to throw up and he never threw up before. So glad he’s okay 🙏🏽

Millisa Gable He was choking on milk that had hardened in his belly. So when he threw up, he couldn’t get it out. It was really scary
Poor little guy! that's so scary. Our little one did that a few times because she got car sick. It makes you want to jump out of your skin as a parent! So glad he's okay. If we go for longer car rides, I just make sure she doesn't eat a ton right before just in case. Also, all the padding comes off the car seat! We have a graco one too!
This happened to my daughter 3 times. We realized that she gets carsick. Idk if you give him anything to watch or something in the car or a book. But I know we learned that makes me daughter sick. They are same age. The car seats make it so they can’t bend forward so the throw up just sits in their throat and they choke on it. It’s very very scary. Glad he is ok!

I'm so glad he's okay.y oldest son choked on a peice of chocolate when he was around Cooper's age. Scariest minute of my life while I worked to get it dislodged. Boys are good at scarring the shizz out of their Mama's lol
