For example u break a glass: short sound, you are tired: short sound, you forget your phone and have to go back and fetch it: short sound, u a little upset: short sound.
Now the long sound is the one you do when you are really angry or upset. When someone does the long sucking of the teeth to you It's like an insult. And when it comes with the rolling of the eyes than that's a supper insult😀😀. It's done a lot by african women. They are the expert teeth suckers

Take what he is saying with a grain of salt. He’s doing a lot of over generalizing. I attribute much of this to his age. I’m a 50 year old Foundational Black American. I grew up in Northern California. It is extremely diverse in California. I went to a predominantly white high school. I attended predominantly white university. In college because we were a small minority we were a very tight group. I was in Gospel choir. We traveled throughout California. There was over 300 of us in the choir with 99% of us was black. Gen Z which Austin is a member of seem to be more disconnected than past generations. I have two daughters 25 and 28. While they have always had a group of friends their friend groups have always been diverse racially. I think a lot of the disconnect is due to AI, deterioration of the black family and overall deterioration of society in general. This generation as a whole lacks boundaries, are more self-entitled and believe their feelings should supersede biological facts! I now live in the south here in the USA. Every where I go people speak to each other. Don’t let Austin have you thinking that black people don’t speak to each other. Whether I’m on the west coast, east coast, Midwest or in the south of the USA black by in large greet each other even if it’s just a nod of the head. We have an unspoken way of communicating with each other that only we understand 😂. This unspoken communication is partly what makes dating outside of our culture difficult.

Austin needs to stop speaking for blacks in America. He’s too young with no experience to know what he’s talking about. It ALL depends on where you live in America and your life experiences that determines your relationship with other black ppl. If you come from a hostile neighborhood then there will be hostility. This is probably the same in every county. Austin doesn’t like himself. Also it’s not true that black Americans think all those foul things about Africans. Only a immature person with no life experience would even say that. Can’t y’all see that when he says “They or We” he’s talking about himself. C’mon guys listen with understanding don’t just listen to hear. Do better Auston. Your horns and tail are showing.

I’ve been following Auston’s journey for a while now and it’s good to see him expanding his horizons and gaining knowledge. I will disagree with him on one point though… in America/Canada/UK black people do not avoid other black people purely based on their skin colour… this is a CLASS issue… not a race issue. If you see 3 black men on the streets dressed in suits are you afraid? If you see 3 white men dressed in gang colours or looking disheveled and homeless do you think that they’re not a potential threat?
One thing that American media is VERY good at is dividing its citizens and making them hate one another. Sad, but true.

I mean there is some anti African sentiment.. Like he said Africa was historically portrayed as poor dirty etc.. and black Americans of course don't want to be associated with that.. kids would insult others as calling them African booty scratchers. You'd see Africans in America carrying over their culture like bargaining and mistrust making bad examples.. and for a long time Africans got a stereo type. Of course Ethiopian women got a stereotype too, positive mostly.. of course the negative stereotype can go both ways.. I've seen Africans call black Americans the n word. I saw a young block man try to meet a dark skin young black African girl who wasn't interested.. and that soon went bad with both of them yelling out preconceived insults showing their prejudices. Nigerians have a bad reputation, even by Ghanaians but I've come to know some who are good people.. And don't believe the stereo type.
