It can sync, you need to reflash first using 3utools or itunes before proceeding on bypass. After the process, you can sync over itunes to copy files/music. REMEMBER:do not ever attempt to restart the device since factory activation is only tethered. Meaning, you cannot sync anymore to itunes once the device has rebooted/restarted. You need to do the factory activation process in order to sunc again on itunes
