Those ditches along rt104 are some of my faves when there's enough snow
Maybe the next time we go there will be a lot more snow and those ditches will be fun. Thanks for watching Alex.
Thanks for the great sledding videos all winter long. Sure was enjoyable to to watch when I couldnt be out ridding. Till next winter.. Stay Safe.
I think we might just have one more ride coming tomorrow. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching all winter.
All things considered with the winter that we’ve had. Conditions looked pretty good.
We’re going to try get one last trip in for the weekend of the 29th.
I agree. We are going to O.F. tomorrow morning for our last ride.
I'd like to buy a Blizzard like yours. Or your brothers mxz 800
Cool. Thanks for watching.
Damn right in my neck of the woods glad u guys enjoyed
Yes. It was a good day of riding! We'll be back next season. Thanks for watching.
SOUTHARD'S HILL in Cato, NY!
Do you have some good riding there?
Nice video .. IN MY NECK OF THE WOODS ALSO .. thank you for sharing ...
Cool. The trails are pretty nice out your way. We'll be back next season. Thanks for watching.
I like the narrating while you drive. Your brother Mark is still the animated one. Never at a loss for words.lol All good!
What do you think of your mirrors on the hand guards? I have them as well. Not perfect but keeps me from turning back just to see that flicker of light from the sled without looking big and ugly like other mirrors....
Thanks. The narrating fills a gap of silence that made the GoPro footage hard to watch before. Now I can also let you guys know stuff that I was thinking or what isn't obvious just from watching. Sometimes I point out the obvious too. lol.
I feel the same way about the little mirrors. You can just see if you buddy is still behind you but that's about it. Large mirrors would be great but would look funny on my sled.
Thanks for watching.
great safe season got to keep the shiny side up
Yes. Thanks for watching.
Nice!!!. I see you guys made it over to what all the locals call "Southards Hill"..
I grew up riding that area. Back in the 70's through the early 80's that hill was littered with snowmobile cowls and all sorts of plastic windshields. The sleds back then didn't traverse that hill as easily as the sleds of today. Back when we use to get a lot more snow that hill use to get some huge snow drifts at the top that made making it all the way up and over much harder and it claimed victory on many a sled. With a great snow cover season the trails in that area are nice on over through Jack's Reef.
With old man winter forecasting a nice storm this Friday night on through Saturday are you guys planning one last ride??
Another great video !! 👍🏻
So did I, I rolled a sled or two down it in the late 70's early 80's. Used to be quite the hill.
That's cool! We don't get much opportunity to climb hills in our area so that was nice for a change. I'm going
to try to remember that name for when we go back next season.
Thanks for sharing.
Did you total them or was it not too bad?
@@Paisteboy No totaled sleds, but some broken windshields and hoods.. one was an old 71 Scorpion we found and got running. There weren't that many trees on it back then. That was the name cause that farm right there was owned by the Southard's, not sure if it still is or not, I'm out near Rochester now.

Cool. We had quite a few old sleds back in the early and mid 80's. They were still a lot of fun!
Damn I guess this is the end for you guys ! You are almost riding on rocks and dirt half the time ! It was an awesome season though ! :)
True! I don't think it's over just yet. Stay tuned buddy!
You guys should have come to Maine. We were riding late into April last year.
I would love to but it's quite a hike from NY. Maybe someday.
Yeah that's something you'd want to take a week’s vacation to do. Start in western Maine and saddle bag it to Aroostook County. The "County" in my opinion is the best riding outside of Quebec in the north east. Well worth the vacation time. If you guys ever want to come to Jackman let me know I could probably hook you up with a place to stay and be your tour guide.
Sounds good. If we get a chance I'll let you know.
Nice video’s. I have been over to that hill and you’re correct, easier going up than you would think. Last part of that ride is what we dream of all summer long!
Take care and thanks for taking the time to video your rides, truly enjoyable.
Thanks Mike. I'm glad you like the videos. I think we've one more ride in us before this season is over. Stay tuned.
good one
Thanks Joe.
I was out riding the same day you where I believe. From my front yard out towards Bergen on old RR bed. I was hauling ass likr you where at the end of this video. What was concerning me, we kept seeing deer pop out onto the old RR bed a few times in the distance. And we kept seeing a ton of deer out in the distance in packs along trails. As cautious as we are, I was afraid one of us where gonna nail a deer at a high speed of rate. I consistently see deer out my way. Is this in the back of your head as you ride too?? I do alot of night riding too. 😦😦😦
Hey Jim. We don't do very much night riding at all. I didn't see a single deer that day. I do see deer in Old Forge but never on the trails. I always think about that kind of stuff but we had already traveled that line earlier and I was 3rd in the group. I think the loud sleds scare them away.
I was on the yamah nytro with the skidoo suit
Nice. OK. at 20:17. Had you ever seen my videos before?
Thanks for watching.
Yes i have came across them when i was watching snowmobile videos
I love the content to came across u in 2018
Thanks. Much appreciated.
See you guys are still going 80 on a trail. That's why 20 have lost there life as of march 20, 2018 in upstate NY.
Yes. I had a complete clear view on a smooth trail and could easily slow down if I saw someone approaching. 20 people lost there lives from going fast around turns or areas they were not familiar with or just could not see where they were at night on a lake. Not what we were doing.
Go to new Hampshire then we have a lot of snow really good snowmobileing
Maybe someday. Thanks for watching.
